  1. Looks like dude removed the pics of showing the interior and overspray. Not a good sign based on many of my Craigslist experiences. If they're willing to lie about one thing, they're often willing to lie about everything.
  2. Looks like some of that "original paint" got on the door seals...
  3. Stereo didn't stand up so well. Hooked a battery up to it when I got it down here. Only the little red light on the head unit turned on. Between 17 years in a barn in the NW and the 4 million rodents that made themselves at home in it, there was no saving it. I'll send you some pics of it coming out of the barn through your PM.
  4. Thanks folks! I knew that Camaro shocks were supposed to fit on 510's, but I couldn't find anything saying that they crossed over to the 411's as well. Now back to the garage...
  5. I saw your post about the Sears shocks when I did search before my initial post. I was looking for KYB Gas A Just that would cross since there are none offered directly for the car.
  6. So I'd like to get a set of KYB Gas A Just Shocks (Whites) for my 67 wagon, but only the fronts are offered. There is no direct application for the rear. Does anyone know off the top of their head what other ones I could use? 510 wagon? I'm thinking that the car is going to be around 3 inches lower than stock if that helps. I've been looking at the Monroe dimension guide, but it's about to make my head explode. Thanks folks
  7. Stored in a barn for 17 years. Working on getting it back on the road. All it needs is everything!
  8. Interior is going to consist of a single seat and a 6 pt roll cage. It'll feel cozy, but in a different way.
  9. It was just a thought... Got lots of projects right now and just bouncing around ideas to keep costs down. I can get aluminum welding done for next to nothing. Not so much when it comes to actual machine work/fabrication.
  10. Guess I learned my lesson on posting 510 pics where they don't belong...
  11. Getting ready to set up a set of motorcycle carbs on my L18 and need to fab a manifold. While looking on craigslist I saw a bunch of L6 intake manifolds and started to wonder if the the four outside intakes would fit on an L4 head if the middle ones were removed. Is the port spacing and mounting bolt placement the same between the two. I read the entire R1 carb thread a couple months ago and don't remember anyone talking about doing this. Thoughts?
  12. Knew I was pushing it a bit with that one. ;)
  13. Gonna be a few months before I get the engine in the 411. I bought it in pieces, (most of them from the machine shop still wrapped in plastic), but the guy wrecked his car before he got the block bored out for the 1mm over flat tops. So I gotta do that still, and then I'm going to first put it in the car below which is being transported as I type this to me from WA after sitting in a barn on my family's farm for 17 years. Rather any problems show up on the street first than on the track. But I definitely will, when I start the project.
