Hello Everyone. I'm a new comer to this site and I'm trying to get acquainted with everything here. I am a recent owner of a '71 1200 that is drivable but in need of some critical parts, i.e., wiper switch and an ignition switch. I did have a brief discussion with one of the members from this site but I may have lost him. If anyone out there can help me obtain these parts, and if there is one I'd love to get my hands on the electrical schematic for the 1200, I would really appreciate the help. I will be taking pictures of my car but it is at the garage where I purchased it from. so as soon as I get it running again, I'll take the pic's. Thanks in advance!

he he, I'm lost as a drop of water in the ocean. I'm not too good at navigating through this site. I get confused easily, but I am having a difficult time with this particular setup. I will try to learn how to navigate ASAP.
Anyway, thank-you Jester for the welcome. As soon as I am familiar with how things work here, I will post pics and share infos as they come up. As I've stated before, I am still in search of a wiper switch for a 1971 1200 but now I find myself in search for the schematics for the same car also. Its kind of funny I live in central California where cars don't rust so I should be able to find old car parts, but nooo, there are none to be found. Are people out there hording them???

I'm a newbie to this site, and I don't know too much about things around here. However, I do know that I need some major help. I'm a recent owner of a 1971 1200 (modified to an extent) which is in need of parts. The car runs extremely well, but once you see the car you might wonder why or how. I will post pictures soon. For now, though, I'm in search of a wiper switch. If anyone can help me find one, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank-you in advance.

Recent owner of a modified 1971 Datsun 1200. There are many pieces missing, some of which I need badly. For one, I need a wiper switch; the one in the car is shorted out. Is there anybody out there who can help me? By the way, this is definitely a project car and during the resto process I will take photos and share them with those who help me. Anything I learn will be shared.
