Hi everyone up for sale or trade is my 1972 Datsun 510. it is titled and registered but i never made it non-op so it will have a small fee of 160 dollars. - Datsun z20 engine with 5 speed - New paint 7.5-10 (Toyota Smokey Granite Mica) - New headliner - New sunroof - New bushings - New front shocks - New gas filler plumbing - New fiberglass front apron - New fiberglass tail light panel - New fiberglass rear apron - New Solex locks - other new tidbits here and there The car is just about up and running. it fires right up but the wiring needs to be finalized. it needs a new radiator plumbed in and the interior put in (not upholstered, I was going to wait until I put it in). I would like to get 3500 for it but im taking offers. I am also looking to trade for Mini Cooper stuff, Triumph Bonneville stuff and complete cars or motorcycles. American muscle, Classic Japanese, Triumph Motorcycles, 70's Honda CB750 or 550, Cafe bikes, Bobbers....let me know what you have to trade or offer. everything and anything Datsun I have will go with you. hi, are those strusts shortened or did you just get an adjustable perch welded on stock struts?

Hi do your seats recline forward or do they only recline backwards. also how much for the front seats. please let me know as soon as you can, i live in pasadena so im pretty local and can pick up the items.

i got a 72 510. ya freaky510 that'd been koo if you were closer. Right now at&t is selling refurbished iPhone 3g's for 99 dollars 49 if you start a new line. aside from the 3GS being faster i dont see that much of a difference between the two. if anyone has 72 taillights or a rearseat in southern california please chime in. depending on the condition i of course will put cash on top.

Hello everyone i got a used iphone 3g not stolen and not refurbished. I was mine and i upgraded to the new 3GS. The phone is in perfect working condition. There are signs of use, such as swirl marks on the back from not using phone protector. The screen however has always had a transparent skin, so no scratches there. No dents, No cracks, and no major Scratches. I will post pics soon. I am looking to trade for a decent set of taillights, or a rear seat. local transactions preferred (Pasadena, CA) thanks Rudy

Hey everyone i need the trunk latch and its striker plate. i need everything back there except for the lock. i think its just the two pieces the latch and striker plate. please correct me if im wrong.

thats pretty smart! ya that would weed out the bad sellers, and actual picture of course are always a good thing. so far ive been able to get parts fairly local.

I dunno if im paranoid but ive been seeing alot of brits contact me on Dime Quarterly. I post the things I need and WTB and alot of brits send me emails saying they have the parts I need but cant provide pictures. One time i was looking for lowering springs and another brit said that he had them and would sell them to me for 65usd. He said he manufactures them but his camera was broken. My question is should All of those foreign transactions be ignored or are there any reputable people across the pond. :confused: I try to keep transactions as local as possible but i dont want to count those guys out unless i really should. i havent been in this Datsun game very long but 65usd for lowering springs sounds really fishy. i havent seen them for sale in all the while ive owned my dime (5 months), i would guess they go for 300-500 dollars.

the springs LOL ya i think someone used clamps to lower the car. thats the only explication i could come up with. My garage ya its pretty bad lol. i gotta get the seals on the car before it starts raining because my ratsun garage tends to leak alot. Its ugly but it works and it my sanctuary. it works as a motivator beacuse of how messed up the little hut is i get motivated to work on the 510 and try to get it out of there. Finally got my headliner from Too Intense. ive been bending lines the past day and a half. im waiting on some braided brake lines and then its time to go rent a cherry picker to get the engine in.

riced out monster truck....lol to funny man ya i think ill just keep my slotted 240z rims for a while. i really liked those OG Sans...the ssr mesh replicas. maybe 15x7 0 offset. when i get the 510 on the road ill go see how they fit, i guess thats the only way i can really find out. riced out monster truck lol :lol: i guess i can i can put 12 fog lights in the front, keep it dirty, walk around with a helmet everywhere i go, and say its for rally racing. or get tires that fit

i got my bushing kit and installed the front. i didn't take pictures of how i did it because im sure all of you will laugh, i was wile i was doing it. i will tell you though that i don't have a press, all i had was a hammer, tree stump, drill, and a sore arm. i got new ball joints and found a set of stock springs. After about a week of getting the wrong part and returning it, the local parts store finally got me a new set of tie rods and adjusting sleeves. Next on the list is new brake hard lines, steel braided bake lines, steel braided clutch line, new front rotors and a caliper rebuild. I hope to get that done by next weekend. im still waiting on my headliner from to intense restoration. its been about a week and a half now. thank you to all of you following my little build. my bushing press: the old front springs: new shocks: pretty red parts: just another back pic of the new paint job:

will 15x8 with 0 offset fit under my datsun 2 door 510 with no mofications? stock suspension all around. i know its alot of rubber for a stock car but just curious.
