im looking for a 510 possibly....i hate this truck....never rly like small trucks in the first place.....so if anyone knows where to get a 510 i will trade my 620....the engine runs great and the trucks is pretty much stock....i just dont have the time to be dealing with the fucking charging system....i checked, re-checked and the triple checked the wires....my battery will charge now but when i shut off the truck and leave it for about 20min my battery charge is gone...i got it tested @ autozone and Checker(O'Reillys) and the system says its charging correctly....im just tired of this stupid shit i mean my alternator passed battery passed.....everything passed but my truck still wants to be a fag....soo i would like to get it to someone with a passion for fixing this

1979 datsun 620 kingcab forsale.....if i dont sell this piece of fucking shit i am gonna take it out to the desert and see what my desert eagle does to the mother fucker.....this truck sux, has wasted too much of my time and money....coulda have had a better vehicle than this a long time ago with the amount....no wonder they changed to nissan cause the truck is worthless....id rather own a yugo than this unreliable truck

hey guys an update for you....so i spliced a spare wire into the output of my Alternator....this means i bypassed my voltage regulator....i know this isnt rly safe but its getting me from point A to B....i run my stereo electric fan and headlights so i can keep the battery from overcharging....any suggestions on why this works....also if you have an spare wiring harnesses that would be a plus 2

hey guys been a long time since i have made a post....well i am having the same problem i was having with my 79 620....i replaced my alternator and my battery and my charging system is still not working....i ran a new ground to my battery and pulled the positive off and my truck still dies....my voltage reg is internal so my alt passed when i started seeing the problems again after about two weeks of repair....i am completely lost about this and if i can figure it out soon i am gonna be posting my truck for sale....plz help me thats my last resort.....and if anyone might have had the same problem plz gimme some info on what you did....i cant figure this shit out

lol its cool worth a shot.....if i can find a cheap tire for my rim i have some 14" steelies my friend gave me....might need a good sandblasting but they are in decent shape

damn that truck is still in pretty good shape.....would you reccomend the wiring harness cause if it looks shifty then i dont wanna fuck around....

hey guys sorry for the second post but i am also looking for a wiring harness for my 79....i cannot figure out what is wrong with my electrical....as i said before my battery will not charge....i installed a new alternator and took my old one down to napa to have tested come to find out it works voltage reg. and everything....my battery also tested out fine.....i was also told it could be my ignition switch can anyone verify that???? so now i look at my wiring harness and realize that i have tons of shit cut, spliced, added wires, taken out wires....so if anyone has one i will pay for shipping and handling and whatever you want for it thanx
