  1. AHHHH!!! Dustin why are you getting rid of that?!! That makes the front of that car man!!
  2. The lines are still outta control. I'm deff down for meets there.....once the lines calm the eff down.
  3. I just think that the way it was said could have been a bit better. Guess I'll just keep my opinions to myself then.
  4. I was just thinking that!!! Well its a start and as we all know you gotta start somewhere!!

    Guns

That is a nice gun. My daily carry is a an XD but it's a service model chambered in .40 cal. I also carry a .38 as my backup. I have a subcompact XD as well but mostly stays at the house.
  6. Is that an R160? If so how much for the axles and rearend?
  7. You know I really dont think it's right to talk shit about peoples work if you dont have a clear picture of the welds. I've looked through all the pictures and there are NO clear pictures of his welds so why would you sit there and talk shit about his Skills? Now if you have seen the welds UPCLOSE and PERSONAL then fire him off a PM and dont ridicule him in public. I'm all for constructive criticism but I also think there is a proper way to give it. To the O.P. I like where you're going with this car. Cant wait to see it done.

    Guns

One of a few guns. Gotta find the jump drive with all my gun pictures.
  9. Aaaaahhh!!!! I'm okay with anyother type of injury but eye ish!!! Fuck that!!! I hope everything is going better for you now man.
  10. Thanks guys for the input. Yea I'm not sure if Imma pull the dash anytime soon but believe my you'll know when I do cause I'll be beating down you're door so you can come join in on the fun!!!
  11. The CA18DET's are sweet little motors. They look more like a RB20DET with two cylinders chopped off instead of SR's. I actually like the CA's better then the SR's. They are nicer to work on, instead of using a timing chain they use a timing belt. I've seen ppl get about 350ish at the wheels an still be a nice street driven car. Not sure about any HP numbers passed that.
  12. Yea, the gauge kinna just works whenever it feels like. I'm pretty sure it's just the sending unit is crap because the connections are nice and clean. I really hope its not the volt reg/temp compensation module cause I dont feel like taking the dash apart right now.....although it kinna looks like I will have to anyways to cleanup the wiring.
  13. Once upon I time I used to have a good set of depin tools....once upon a time. I was thinking about using a IR alternator like we did on the last dime I had. Thanks for the heads up on the vintageconnector place, I know the PAP yard by my house had a few older datsun trucks I'll have to check it out. Yea just a bit, luckily I dont have to go at alone. My roommate and I can do sections at a time. Everything works except a few small things like the temp guage but thats cause its not hooked up. So yea I've got my work cut out for me but I look forward to it.
  14. Okay, I do understand what you're saying about military guys owning Datsun's cause I have seen firsthand with a buddy who is in Iraq now, but my situations happen to be a bit different. I have a garage I can park my Datsun in as long as I need to. My dad would never let a good Datsun die out, it will be parked in the garage right next to his 68 Datsun Roadster. Hell he will mostlikely work on it and I know FOR SURE he'll drive it I do understand the concern though and I appreciate it. As far as the voltage regulator goes it's one of the things on my todo list. There's some wiring that need's to be cleaned up and corrected plus I want to replace a bunch of seals and such. Do you know where I could get the right connector for it?
  15. Damn sorry man, it looks like a gorgeous wago to.
