I havn't driven it more than 3 miles and roasted a few tires. the fusable links are all over the place under the hood. it looks like a tornado hit that side of the engine bay. I just dont know where to start. as for it charging... i hope so... im running an optima so it may not be and its just a kick a$$ battery. when i was hooking up the alternator i dropped the baby bolt for the ground wire and it fell into a worm hole to another dimension because it is no where to be found so i hooked that black wire to a long brass looking bolt that i think holds the alt. case together... is this a problem??? lol i think it may be but i figured this long bolt would be as good a ground as any..

I got her a few months ago and she is a project someone couldnt finish.. if you know how that goes then you know its a PITA. she runs and drives now but has a few bugs im working out with the electrical. 1. Non of the lights (brake lights, parking, ect.) work in the car untill the car is running not just in on.. the l28 has to be chugging on gas for them to work... Im thinking this may be related to this issue... the Voltage meter reads max charge at like 16v and the charge light is on.. voltage reg.? 2. The headlights dont work period. (i work graves so this is pretty important.) 3. front turn signals dont work either. may just be the bulbs i havn't checked yet.
