  1. mainer311 His mom bought it for him so I have only seen pictures of it working I did a search and my best guess is that it is a Creality 3D Ender-3. Jakes Makes My son says it came with software thanks for the warning on VOC's
  2. Whoa, I guess I need to study up. Because I have no idea what PLA means, maybe I should just stay a "pliers guy" I don't know if I have the bandwidth to get in to the technical drawings and cad stuff. Right now I am deep in to researching LS engine swaps (don't worry it is not for the datsun) Thank you for your reply Jake
  3. My 13 year old son got a 3D printer for Christmas and I was wondering if anyone had the file for the 521 Heater Lever/Knob on a 1971 521 I don't want to buy one (even though that would probably be far cheaper) I've been getting along without one for years but I thought it would be a fun project for him and I to learn with on his printer If someone has the file I would really appreciate it. Thanks everyone, happy New year
  4. It looks like there was some piece of copper that contacted the steering column and I think it broke or it just came off anyway when I ground it with a screwdriver of course the headlights go off what I've done so far is I have just adjusted all the lights to low beam but I'm hoping that that Facebook lead comes through because I would much rather just replace it it doesn't look like it's that difficult
  5. I did a post over there thanks
  6. Problems with high beam switch turned them on the other day (night) now the hi beams are always on. I took off the cover and found a tiny piece of copper strap in the shape of a U in the cover. Is this some thing that came loose or broke? If I complete the circuit with a screw driver the high beams go off. So what are my options? Assuming I can afford a turn signal/high-beam switch are they even available? Rig up a floor switch/dash switch? is there a fuse that is just for the hi's? Unplug them The cops in my town will not tolerate all 4 headlights on (even though I adjusted the high beams down, and some kid with a late model mustang drives around all the time with 4 lights). Thanks
  7. ??? I bought mine at rock auto but it looked like they no longer carried it so i did a search for it on the internet that is the one I found
  8. Can't you just buy one http://zopbuy.com/product/powerbuilt-648831-nissan-timing-chain-holding-tool/
  9. PA POW put Old school Air Ride on the 521 today. Gabriel HiJackers Air Shocks 49346 Monroe MA802's were no longer available anywhere on the planet that I could find. Note: I had to remove the rubbers and meatal bushings from the eye rings and use new rubber bushings to get them to fit on the upper mount. The 49346 hijackers cleared much better than my MA750 monroes, they rubbed on the axle housing, until one of them blew up, at least I think that's what happened. You can use a MA750 but you will have to modify the lower mount to keep it from rubbing on the rear axel housing and popping the bag. (Um, a friend told me... because of course I am too smart to do that the hard way)
  10. I feel bad about all the confusion. In my defense, I am fighting a killer cold. I will try to keep it 100% from here out.
  11. Yes, I'm doing it on my phone so punctuation is a low priority LOL
  12. I don't think I understand. I have not messed with those hoses so I assume they are in the factory positions. Should I change them?
  13. No hoses are connected to the heater core still some cool weather here i do shut it off though after it gets warm in the afternoon
  14. Mainer I agree what were they thinking glass is way better. Banzai I will use some cleaning juice in there see if there's an improvement. Mike I feel like I should just text you when I have a question to save the Internet bandwidth. Lol I will take you advice on the hitachi. I am running the L16 pump and fan put it on b/c it fits the shroud w/o mods and I saw no temp differences so I just left it on there. Still think I need to go electric when I can. My choke is wired to the coil so that is wrong for sure. Still not in love with the temp's would be a proud achievement for me if I could get it to read middle all year round.
  15. Fiddled with the air fuel screw it's running better. As for the float not sure how to adjust that. I had it stick down one time about a year ago, it would not start, took it out but did not adjust it... as far as I know. this carb has the circle glass but I do have the one off my 1600 carb which is all glass. I Replaced the filter in the fall as part of my tuning at that time.
