hello all, i finally have time to work on my truck. i need cam cover gasket, head gasket, oil pan gasket, front and rear gaskets...anyone know where to get a kit? is there one, or three? i'm not opposed to replacing the timing chain as well. i need some sources for the parts, don't need oem, not doin' a restore, just wanna get it runnin' again. thanks mike

it's a '73, i've only banged my head on one tow hook. i've had it for four and a half years, have only recently started the forensics of the warped front end.

thanks again fer all the welcomes! i'm prolly gonna start postin' in the trucks section, as i may need advice as i go. i've displaced my chilton's, tomorrow is 'remove carb' day. ...and unplug, cut, slash, everything else i gotta... good thing is, i only havta push it out of the shop every other tuesday! ta' make room for the diesel guy.

hey, just joined...been checkin' it out fer a few days. i likey. i'm gonna try to post pics. with this. i'm embarking on somethin' i've never done... pullin' an engine. all the perma-drips finally let go, replacin' all gaskets and seals. under th' hood th' indoors control panel check my grille one more... those are pathfinder rims i'm told... this is stayin' crusty, rusty, an' beat, i may make it a sleeper...waitin' ta see what all's goin' on in the engine. later.
