    Sorry I forgot to say the horn worked fine before I changed the wheel.

    Then if that's the case the horn button Isn't making good contact then because my horn sounds muffled now. Need to check what I can do.

    Don't mean to resurrect this, but I installed a 240z steering wheel on my 71 510 wagon. now the horn is shorting out have this happened to anyone?
