  1. My big old boat of a car is a 1998 Crown Vic Police Interceptor that is modified to run on both unleaded and CNG (compressed natural gas). I was living in Utah when I bought it and they have a great CNG infrastructure. When everyone was paying over $4 a gallon, I was paying about 80 cents for a gasoline gallon equivalent. At 23 Highway I was able to travel 115 miles for $4 of fuel. :) This is my newest purchase, an unmodified 1992 Civic Si Hatchback that is in excellent condition. These pics were from a meet today of just a few people who are into EG's. The tailgate on the car is kind of neat.
  2. I have four cars and need to at least get rid of one to a good family. Made a brief appearance at Canby 2009. Next week I will be putting on Craigslist and ebay for more than the $2300 I am offering on here. Put less than 300 miles in the last 6 months, my longest trip was to Canby. :) Paint is fair, body pretty decent, Has a rust patch on the lower left side of hatch, seat belt retractor sticks but you can get it to work, it has been lowered as you can see from the pics, rims are aluminum not hubcaps, rear door handles shaved, tinted windows, interior is custom with z-car seats and steering wheel and in excellent shape, all seats and door panels redone, PERFECT dash and excellent carpets. It has an L16 OHC 1600cc SSS engine with the factory dual SU's ( manual choke ) that I think needs adjustment though it does idle and accelerate fine, my opinion is the clutch could use an adjustment, and a early model 200SX 5 speed which growls only in 5th so it might only need fluid. New urethane bushing through out, radiator rebuilt, fresh tune up, & good tires which have at least 80% tread left. Everything works as it should except the gas/temp gauge and the headlight switch is about worn out, the car came with a bunch of NOS/spare parts. Personally I don't like surprises when I buy a car and have tried to be as honest as possible about my experience with this car but this is 38 years old and being sold "as is" so there will be no guarantee/warranty written or implied. John PM me if you are interested.
  3. First time to a show with my car. Really can't pass it up since I am only about 35 miles away.
  4. I could really use a good working headlight switch? I am across the river in Vancouver so coming over is no problem.
  5. Thanks 71DIMER for the assist. So how do you like the cheesy '80's paint job. :) Almost enough of a cliche to be bearable.
  6. Posted this same thing on another thread before I saw this one. Bought this last year and was wondering if I paid too much. I got it for $2300 and it looks like it was once someones custom show car. Won't let me post pics to here so I uploaded three to my profile album. John

Ok this stupid thing will not let me show the pics but I was able to put them in an album. John
