Anyone here know anything about TV antenna's??
Ours isn't working now that we got the new pole and UHF antenna up. Everything's hooked up correctly, and the cables are good, but absolutely no signal is going to the TVs in the house. (which are all digital)
There's a UHF antenna about 45 feet in the air, and an all channel antenna about 8 feet on the pole below it. They go into a VHF/UHF splitter box and run into the house to a signal amp.
Last week, we only had the all channel antenna, (mounted about 4 feet lower than it is now) and it picked up all the channels, but they were a bit weak, which is why my dad got a UHF antenna and made a longer pole. When the UHF antenna was mounted on the shorter pole, it picked up a signal, but it was even weaker than the other one, but at least it works.
That being said, my guess is that the VHF/UHF splitter is bad but it's brand new, so that couldn't be the problem, could it? Any suggestions?
Haha, sorry about the rambling, but my dad is royally pissed right now, and he's too proud to hear anything I could suggest to fix it, so I figured I might try to do it myself while he's at work:lol: (or at least know more about it if I do suggest something)
