  1. Check out this 1997 620 KC. http://atlanta.craigslist.org/nat/cto/1756043779.html
  2. A little pricey, but it's in perfect condition: http://atlanta.craigslist.org/atl/cto/1635098811.html
  3. Congrats on getting published! I'll probably buy this pretty soon, since I'm going to have a new niece or nephew in June.
  4. I hear that term used a lot, but do any of you actually have a Man Card? I keep mine in my wallet.
  5. Damn. It would've been understandable if he mistook it for a LUV or something like that, but to say "what's a datsun?"??? And on the west coast too!
  6. At the same house I saw the super clean Z a few weeks ago, I saw a white 210 wagon parked under a shed in the back. Looked to be in decent condition too.
  7. Not a dat, but this baby was for sale in the BJ's parking lot::drool:
  8. 233 years and counting! Happy Independence Day!
  9. If you have firefox, download DWhelper (http://www.downloadhelper.net/) and install it. When you watch the video, follow the instructions on the site to download it (it's very easy) and it will save on your computer as an .flv file. You'll need FLV Player (http://download.cnet.com/FLV-Player/3000-13632_4-10467081.html) to play the video.
  10. ^I'd love to get my hands on a drum kit someday. Don't think I'd have the room though. Err, bump. Just got this for my birthday: :D My dad got it for $65 at a yard sale, and just one of the 4 speakers costs more3 than that. (about $100) I'll get a good head for it later on, but now it's the dedicated talk box speaker.
  11. I would love to be (and am going to be) a luthier.
  12. UHF hasn't stopped broadcasting, it's just the analog signal transmission has stopped. And I live miles away from civilization at the bottom of a hill, which is why a 45 foot pole is needed:lol:
  13. Anyone here know anything about TV antenna's?? Ours isn't working now that we got the new pole and UHF antenna up. Everything's hooked up correctly, and the cables are good, but absolutely no signal is going to the TVs in the house. (which are all digital) There's a UHF antenna about 45 feet in the air, and an all channel antenna about 8 feet on the pole below it. They go into a VHF/UHF splitter box and run into the house to a signal amp. Last week, we only had the all channel antenna, (mounted about 4 feet lower than it is now) and it picked up all the channels, but they were a bit weak, which is why my dad got a UHF antenna and made a longer pole. When the UHF antenna was mounted on the shorter pole, it picked up a signal, but it was even weaker than the other one, but at least it works. That being said, my guess is that the VHF/UHF splitter is bad but it's brand new, so that couldn't be the problem, could it? Any suggestions? Haha, sorry about the rambling, but my dad is royally pissed right now, and he's too proud to hear anything I could suggest to fix it, so I figured I might try to do it myself while he's at work:lol: (or at least know more about it if I do suggest something)

    the "U" model

I call drunk dude sitting in the bed yelling at passersby. That's a regular 620 that was bagged and turned into a Ute by some japanese dude. Pretty sweet job of it too, if you look closely, you can see that the paint isn't black, it's a shade of metallic green. http://www.minitruckinweb.com/features/0807mt_1979_datsun_620/index.html A few people are mixing up unibody and ute. A ute is a vehicle that has the cab and bed joined together (ranchero, el camino, all the ones in this thread). A unibody is a vehicle that has no separate chassis, the chassis is integrated into the body. I'm starting to love these U620s, I have to have one!!! I'm surprised more weren't made/sold, or exported.
  15. Damn, something can be said here about cooper tires, they can put up with some shit . My dad got in a wreck earlier this year; a guy in a little saturn rear ended his chevy 2500 at 40 mph and his car got squished under the bed, then bounced off of the tire and landed across the street. The leaf spring broke off of the frame and the rear end cracked, but the tire doesn't have any sign that it was hit. http://i233.photobucket.com/albums/ee305/weaver2109/acc4.jpg http://i233.photobucket.com/albums/ee305/weaver2109/acc2.jpg
