Man that is one clean Datsun...i wish he would break it down and part it out.

I didnt do any actual work to my 521...but what i did do is clear out a nice space and run electrical to a shed that will house the 521 so that i can start working on it...this coming weekend I will patch up the roof and toss out more trash and move in the dat.

Hey Roost... I hate to see how suddenly this project came to a hault...my dad has a 521 thats been sitting for as long as i can remember. He always tried to get me to move it out and get wrenchin but we never did...needless to say im married and no longer at home and just recently pulled it out and made room in the garage for it... I hope your boy comes around and decides to finish it up becuase Im looking to do the same swap and it looks like ya'll are the blueprint.

Tropical huh? actually i'd love to say that im from Aruba or somewhere in the tropics but truth be told im from Houston TX and that lush green that you see around my 521 is a lack of yard maintenance at my dads iron work shop :). and Fisch, I love the rendering of your 521...i am actually using your idea as a basis for what I want to do with mine...im going to draw up a rendering with plans for mine pretty soon. Hello all, I just found this board. I have a 1970 Datsun 521 in pretty shotty shape cosmetically...but the other day my dad and I cut down the 5 foot brush from around it and got it to sputter and make noise...thiking about keeping the stock engine until I saw the thread on the SR20 swap. I hope to gain alot of info from this board and look foward to interacting with all of you. a quick pic of my dat...:D
