  1. Yep. They are in pretty good shape too, just need some cleaning and maybe a polish. If it doesn't sell in the next week or so, I will be stripping it of anything I think I can part out (including the wheels), so stay tuned if you are interested in them.
  2. My ability to continue forward on this project has ended. You could part it out for more than I am asking. Here is the CL add: http://seattle.craigslist.org/skc/cto/1595710618.html $350 bucks, bring a trailer, preferably a flatbed so I dont have to take the driveshaft off. I'm located in Burien near the North Seatac Park. Thanks guys, I would like this to go to a good home.
  3. I hear you guys, I just don't know if I have the time or space for two cars. However, the Mustang needs little to be back on the road, it was pretty much ground-up restored about 6 years ago, then sat outside and never driven. I mean never driven, the tires are so flat they have weather cracks all over the place. The Z still needs a ton of love, and the 302 I built for it would be real nice in the stang, instead of the straight six and auto. So then I have a Z with no engine. I guess I don't have to make the decision right now, I can sleep on it a bit. I never thought I would have one project vehicle, let alone have to choose between two.
  4. I didn't say what the other car was... I thought you would all yell at me. Its a 68 Mustang coupe. I probably paid 1/8 of what its worth, it was a deal that I could not refuse. I have had my eye on this car for 6 years or so, and the owner finally sold it to me. I just need to find a way to tow it home.

  6. I need some advise. I have had my 78 datsun 280z 2+2 for a year or so now. The entire build is over on HBZ: http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?p=1112076#post1112076 Well, I have recently acquired another project vehicle. And as much as I love my Z, I don't think I can support two project cars financially (or have the space for them). Will I regret getting rid of my Z? I could put it outside under a tarp, but it will probably just rust away. I have already converted it to V8, so if I were to sell it, the new owner would almost have to go that route. I will not be selling the engine and transmission I have, so the car will be drivetrain-less. What are my options here? I have never had to let go of a non-running vehicle before, especially an in-progress project car. Are there companies that just come pick up old cars? Should I place a craigslist ad and try to sell it cheap? Should I chop it up with a sawsall and recycle it? I don't want to part it out, too much haggling and time. I have put a lot of work into the Z, some good and some bad. Have you ever sold a project to someone? I am torn inside, the car is a part of me, and where I see hard work, another will see more work for them to put the way they want it. What should I do? -Beau
  7. Clutch, flywheel, motor mounts, crossmember, tranny mount, headers, valve covers. Might be mocking it into the Z next weekend or so. Woot!
  8. My wife has a G1, its pretty damn cool.
  9. Its easy. 1. Find the video in port on the Mac 2. Hook your XBOX 360's video out to it 3. Profit?
  10. Welcome aboard Clive, I have always lusted after your car. The CCW's are so amazing.
