  3. Thanks again Duncan, that car would be perfect if it was 2 or 4 door, and I'm gonna seem picky but I can't do a goon, I absolutely hate the look for some reason. It reminds me my childhood growing up in ford taurus and saturn station wagons :/
  4. This one didn't quite pan out right, keep lookin for me huh guys? What happened to that blue, twin turbo 510 from santa cruz I saw on CL for only 1 day??? I woulda swooped that up in a millisecond. or a blue 240 sr20det from i think fresno that was on CL, I emailed with him, but stopped getting replies, his names manuel aparicio.
  5. That's a gorgeous car, I hear those motors are bulletproof, so your mileage doesn't seem too bad at all, any idea how many hp your pushing? 150?
  6. Thats what I'm talkin bout Duncan, you the man. Email sent. keep em comin please guys, I'm a dedicated 510/240 owner waiting to baby one.
  7. Yea good point...I edit, no 510 V8, thats a terrible idea all around. plus that things got some disgusting body mods/ lines and its an auto. I already spent the money building my first 510, and that made me sick throwing money at a car I know I'll never get back out of it, so now I'm content with just taking your already built dime and investing money til 1 day I can afford to throw as much money as I want at a 510. It's called planning ahead :)
  8. Looking for a 240z swapped with a turbo or a V8 with some style to it(race seats, gauges, etc) for around $10-$12,000. Located within appx 7 hour drive of the Bay Area. Also interested in a 510 swapped with a turbo or V8, with same style in mind, same price. Please help, I've been searching for about 3 months now, I wanna sell my current dime and burn rubber in my new ride, like this cash is burnin a hole in my pocket! Must be TURBO or V8
  9. Hey guys, I tossed my old gas tank because of major leaks. Now im looking for a fuel cell to replace it. Any suggestions on a place and part number where you have gotten yours? We have a strange shaped gas tank, so a regular square one won't fit, let alone i'd have to fill it straight through the rear deck panel. Thanks for the help. -Matt PS. anyone know where I can get a stock used gas tank in the SF bay area? Rod charges 250...
  10. Hi, I'm looking to replace my windshield. I already have the new one, but am wondering if I NEED a new gasket as well. One of the auto glass shops I called said that if it's the original gasket on the car already, then I will need a new one because its molded a certain way..? Can I just get my windshield replaced without changing the gasket? I have the metal trim around the windshield as well if that helps. Thanks
  11. that's the one ;) i can't think of a reason it wouldnt, but would like to know for sure before i put in the time and money.
  12. I'm about to drive an hour away to buy a used windshield from a 510 wagon. Will it fit in my 4-door???????

  14. ^^^By pressure do you mean air or fluid? And the way I recall, there was NO play before hitting resistance on the clutch. So the way I solve that would be by adjusting the bolt behind the clutch pedal correct?
  15. Hmm... If that were true, then I'm pretty sure it would have blown out a lot faster, like after only a few shifts instead of after 10 minutes of moderate/hard driving.
