  1. Mike nailed it. 32/36. Turns out I installed the choke improperly and the high idle screw was just too tight after adjusting the linkage. Tested the fuel pressure and its putting out just under 4. But I replaced the choke because i had a small oil fire and melted the casing. I'm going to be looking at a new profession shortly.
  2. Okay, I have a 73 L16 with a Weber carb. I just replaced the electric choke and topped off the oil. But for what ever reason, it likes to idle at around 1800 when its cold, and 2700 when its hot. Carb is about 6 months old, fuel pump has been replaced with a Mr Gasket universal. Looked at my choke and its set right, and the high idle cam is moving on and off the screw. What do???
  3. I like no leaks... No leaks is good. Yeah I'm just curious, I'm rebuilding/painting my motor later this month. Picked up some rtv and Fel-Pro rubber for the VC. I hear cork is sh*t but I've heard bad and good from both.
  4. Hey guys, fairly simple question here. Cork or rubber gaskets? RTV black works great if you're in a pinch and can't find a gasket, but which of the three is better to use? Why?
  5. I think that's the line that connects to the distributor? Not certain though.
  6. You can use both hands? Allllllllright.
  7. Or woman. Either way, thanks kitten.
  8. Hey guys, in need of an answer here. Are the heads interchangeable between the L16 and the L18? Or the L20 even?
  9. thanks Fat510 for watchin over my truck while it was sitting on the street. turns out this is my username

He saw a 620 all lonely, with it's sad flashing blinkers and he didn't want it to be scared.

    Fender flares?

So I'm pretty new here, as of about 30 minutes ago. I've been thinking about bolt on flares for my 73 620, (wheel spacers & tires too of course) but have no idea how to get them. Unless I make them myself. Which isn't much of an option due to financial & time issues. Any help for me guys?
  12. Hey guys, newbie here. I'm looking to buy some bolt on fender flares for my '73 620. I have no clue where to start.
