  1. When you are asked "is it fast"? And the only honest answer is "only in the corners"!!!
  2. So here is the 521 I picked up And the 280, from no datsuns to two within two weeks
  3. I've used that hauler for a couple years now all over WA, ID and MT. Once you get use to it moving around a bit it's fine :-) This receiver has a big bolt that threads up to tighten it up in the receiver.
  4. Gold beach area for some Dirtbike riding
  5. The truck I bought was headed to canby to be sold, I intercepted it though Think I'm gonna make a 1200 mile mission to southern Oregon in it this weekend
  6. So it started with a 72 521 4x4 frankentruck I got a couple weeks ago, great little truck! Well today a '81 280 2+2 came up in conversation with a guy at the bar, by the end of the conversation I owned it lol
  7. Took my KX out for a ride today so decided to try my hitch hauler out, holy hell does the receiver sit high :geek: Good for ground clearance ....especially when wheeling in the mountains with the bike on it but a PIA to load up! Had no issue with the weight or power issue with it back there. Next I'll load the girl, the mutt, all my camping gear and the dualsport on the hauler for a weekend of camping in the woods to see how it does, that will be a little more of a test!
  8. Yeah, those wheels look like they've followed the truck for a bit  I'm getting it ready for a 1200 mile trek to southern Oregon this weekend A couple more pics
  9. So a while back I saw this truck pop up for sale, unfortunately I was not in the situation to buy anything having just picked up a couple new motorcycle projects. Then I offed some stuff and began the hunt for this little bastardized Datsun I thought was pretty damn wicked looking which led me to ratsun. I've always been drawn to the weird and unusual, from cvcc's to who knows how many oddball motorcycles, and this truck I was hunting was definitely odd!!! It consists of a 72 521 sitting on a 84 Nissan 4X4 chassis powered by a ka24de, I believe it's known around here. The mad fab man that constructed it also had an interesting 510 wagon and an epic little journey with the truck pulling the wagon across many states. Well now she is mine and I'm one happy camper :w00t: It needs a little love, some interior work, a little of my touch and maybe even a windshield! Some really cool trucks on this forum and it sounds like a lot of knowledge as well. Hopefully I can become a productive member here! Well, without further ado, here is my new creature!!!! Rode the bike to go look at it, had to load it in the back to get home
  10. I saw this truck a while ago on craigslist and am very interested with cash in hand if still available. I am in Spokane as well Jason 509-435-8528
