1. I forgot to post a link for the SSR wheels above. http://portland.craigslist.org/clk/pts/4198503088.html
2. found a set of SSR spiel stadt mesh 17X8 +12 offset for $1250 on Portland craigslist ............OMFG I wish I had the money
3. Its been awhile since I posted but I am slowly making progress. I have decided to go with a 240sx KA24E motor & trans for drivetrain, so I sold my L20B and trans to fellow ratsun member dscottdatsun. In the meantime I ordered a set of belltech #2005 hardbody drop spindles from Stillen, and new centerlink and balljoints from rockauto. Oh and Friday I just happened to stop by my local wrecking yard for kicks and found an unmolested 87 Nissan d21 2wd v6 truck and bought the complete spindle assemblys with brakes and outer adjustable tie rods......all for $90 ! I also plan on going back for the M/C and P/B off of the same truck so I can see if they will fit in the 620 since the M/C is 15/16 on the hardbody. Today I pulled the stock spindle assys off and finished stripping the engine bay. Found rust gremlins had eaten some of my winshield lip off (see pic) Ill update when spindles and parts show up!\ Rust! Better brakes needs a moter waitin for belltech goodies

5. Try cleaning the area with a wire brush and blow off the dust with compressed air. Then you may have to remove the window to do this properly, feather all the paint edges to bare metal around the area to be treated mask off everything that needs to be protected. Go to miller paint, lowes, home depot ect, and get a bottle of a product called Jasco Prep and Prime or Jasco phosphoric acid. This is a rust remover/inhibitor/primer (still need to sand and prime after application with epoxy primer) . Pretty nasty stuff, chemical gloves, rubber apron, goggles and face shield, long sleeve shirt, are a good idea. Its a pain in the ass but worth it. Check out the website for more info. wmbarr.com/product.aspx?catid=103&prodid=221
6. Well I sold my stepside bed this last weekend to fellow ratsuner Wayno, so I will be able to fund a standard bed for the truck. If anyone has one in good shape let me know. I can now clean the rear frame and get it ready for paint. Removed front grille, bumper, driverside fender, and front valance to get a look at why I have a branded title due to the truck being totaled sometime in the past. ">http:// Its hard to see but the core support is pushed in about 1" on the bottom driverside, the only way I can fix this is to replace core support. Replaced fuel lines to tank. This was the reason for the fuel leak, stunk up the garage pretty good, wife sqwawked a little bit about it lol. Frame needs a little help, need to pressure wash, replace brake and fuel hardlines as needed, replace ujoints and carrier bearing, shocks, service rear axle, needs to be lowered at least 3" in rear and 3" in front probably MOAR :D , then painted. Thanks to Wayno I was able to pick up a few goodies at the wrecking yard off of a 78 620 KC. Unfortunatley this truck was rusted out so couldn't get the bed. But I got a few other things........headlight buckets, core weber carb, nice front bumper, hood hinges, and a water pump with bigger fan. stay tuned more to come next weekend..............
7. 77 620 KC at U-pul-U-Save in Boring Oregon. It had been there 4 days before I got to it. Head, intake mani, carb, dash all gone. I was there for an exhaust manifold for my 79 620 and I was bummed that it had been picked over, but I noticed a box in the bed and lifted it up and found the complete manifold with no broken studs!. The the truck is really straight! I may go back for fenders, seat belts and the bed soon......if its all there still.
8. Made a egr block off/pcv plate today. 3/16 steel, 8x1.25 studs, part of a egr tube, threaded hex from pcv tube welded on end of tube, drilled about a 9/16 hole in plate pushed tube into hole and welded from inside and ground flat copied hole from egr manifold and drilled plate. This is how you make a egr blockoff and retain pcv system. ">http:// ">http://
9. Heres my 79 cali stepside....
10. Went to Gladstone Nissan today and picked up new shifter bushings. Got the Ratsun discount, that will come in handy for larger purchases. LLoyd in the parts dept. was very helpful, oh and the girls working there sure are hot especially Andrea!(very helpful as well) I had no shifter pin bushings at all before so no more annoying rattle in third gear. Going to order a Nissan motorsports catalog tomorrow.
11. im thinkin dual webers or mikunis, cam, and header! :)
12. Got rid of smog junk! And did a tune up. Valve cover gasket ill replace soon. \ ">http:// ">http:// ">http://
13. Here are some engine pics. Today I tried straightening my hood hinges so there isn't such a huge gap on the driverside. Unfortunately that just shifted the gap to the passenger side. Looks like Ill be pullin the grill, fenders, bumper and valance to address the damage on the LH front core support. ">http:// ">http:// ">http:// ">http://
