  1. see im not worried about daily driver because my ka 4dr is my current daily i have 2 2drs and a wagon. I cant have four daily's
  2. i would use the motor thats currently in my s13 370hp+ sr20.
  3. time attack car so it does not really matter what i do to either of them ill either be in moddified or unlimited. and just open track days. im looking at it as witch is better coice when built.

I had plans to build my s13 240sx for road racing. but my daily 510 with coilovers and big brakes and sways. schools my far more built s13 in handling. im just looking for opinions/insight on the two as a race car. if there are any big down falls of a 510 I may have over looked? im now jsut torn between building my s13 or my spare 2dr for the track.
  5. could i build my tank to sit under the car next to spare tire well horizontaly? will that work or am i missing something? other than horizontal it will be hooked up the very same. every one i have seen sit in the trunk vericticaly.
  6. have people been able to run efi without a surge tank on a 510?
  7. ka 510 with walbro external in engine bay. problem is when i turn right the fuel cuts out i figured its cuz the fuel tank is not baffled and the fuel rushes to opposite of pickup tube. if i move my pump as close to the tank as i can will this help or do i have to install a surge tank? thanks
  8. the engine has not locked up. ive not really drove/ran much cuz the problem. as for the lines i am using the two on pass side of car. feed and return at bottom of tank correct?
  9. it actually drips raw fuel from the tailpipe and not just alittle.
  10. i had this happen on my sr 240 with an intank 255 it destroyed two stock regulators. so i put in an aftermarket reg and it solved my problem. but here its is not. i cleaned the maf and also tried one of my others. i dont think its leaky injector cuz when i pull the plugs all the cylinders are fouled. i ran this very pump on my other ka 510 with no problems but i was using larger lines and it was next to my fuel cell. my return line is clear but maybe to small? thanks

OK i recently just got my car going with de. any how i put a walbro external 255 on and the thing loads up on fuel. so much it actually drips out the exhaust! im running two regulators factory on the rail and AM before the rail. and set it to 43.5psi but still will foul all plugs super fast. my question is i have the pump mounted under my bat tray could that be to close? should i mount it in the back by the tank? im not going to run turbo so should i throw on a 280zx pump? and where to mount it? thanks for any help.
  12. after running continuity tests i found i did not have cont between the black red stipe and black white stripe while key off. when key on it had cont. my other harness had it all the time. i could not see any harness failure. so i just threw the other harness on and fired right up perfect.
  13. no its a fresh swap. it was in a running car 240 then pulled and i then swapped it in mine
  14. yup same code. "no ignition signal" im begging to think its a short in the harness. correct me if im wrong but the coil is told to spark via grounding the wire at the ecu. not power?
