  1. Got this engine in a trade with a buddy about 9 months ago, put it in the garage. I have since sold my 510 ad totally forgot which engine and tranny it is. I need to sell it now and was hoping someone could help me out. Its a engine, tranny and harness. Also if someone could give me a ballpark value tha would be grea awell. Any help is greatly appreciated thanks.

  3. Ok I was just out there and I noticed that my whole dash has stopped working, fuel gauge, blinkers, everythign. All of which was working fine before.
  4. Ok, finally had some time to work on the 510, I did as you said and at idle I was getting 12.42 fromt he battery, at higher revs it was the same, so I went to the alternator and checked there. Same voltage so I figured the Alt was the problem, swapped it for another and it didn't change anything. I took the battery and the Alternator in and they both test out fine. Not sure where to go from here.
  5. Ok battery is good, charged it over night and its fine. Pulled the alternator gonna get it tested. Anyone have a wiring diagram handy for a L20B (Yes I am going to search for it as well, but it cant hurt to ask :) )
  6. I must have mis-stated the problem, the car runs fine when bump started even though the battery is completely dead, so my assumtion is that the alternator is fine since the engine is clearly not running off the battery.
  7. battery is already in the trunk so I would prefer to not replace the cables, if it were the alternator wouldn't the car not want to run at all?
  8. Well first hiccup witht he 510, all of a sudden the battery isn't charging. It runs fine when jumped but the battery is defineatly not getting any juice back. Gonna trouble shoot it this weekend but any suggestions would be appreciated. Also are the all rubber and the rubber metal rubber filler necks interchangeable?
  9. I fabbed up a filler neck and cap since my stock one cracked. Through a combination of scrap parts, a sawzaw and radiator hose I can now drive my Datsun again without getting light headed :)
  10. I would run away, that's premo price for a non primo car. Find something for 4500 that's solid body wise and do the swap yourself espesially since you don't like the style anyway.
  11. Thanks, I am hoping to have it roadtrip worthy by the end of august to drive it up to PAX. Anyone know a easy way to put in a in trunk fuel filler neck? Mine is cracked and I cant find a replacement so I am gonna go to the pick'n'pull soon to try and find something that works.
  12. Oh I know its a dogleg, he probably meant to say sx not zx. Also chopper, I do have a pair of euro tail lights.
