  1. It has a little rust on the right rear quarter panel that I pretty much cleaned up and painted over to protect it and the title is clean.
  2. Fisch, you think it could be worth more? Its in pretty decent shape.
  3. Here is a link to my craigslist posting for my 411. This is not spam or a scam I have been posting this car on other sites and I don't want to keep typing the same thing. http://delaware.craigslist.org/cto/2814147549.html Any questions message me here or off of craigslist.
  4. At the time I was trying to just get it started because I was short on time before I had to move to Delaware. I needed to get it in my trailer. The old one had burn marks on the connector parts, my spark plug wires were frayed so I went to Schucks, the only one they had in stock was the MSD. It was a quick fix instead of waiting 3 days to get it in. I had to get my trailer weighed quick.

  6. The louvers on the hood, what are they from? I have been wanting to do the same thing but couldnt find the right ones. Do you have the specs of all you have done to this? Doubt I could do all that but I would love to try. How much roughly would you say you put into it?
  7. what type of wheels were those on there?
  8. Okay, the starter wasnt bad. I came back, put it in, checked/tapped all my connections and it started right up. Idle was a little off but it ran, I took it down the block and back. Parked it and tried restarting it, nothing.. Tapped two relays on the firewall by the battery and it fired up again, restarted a few times then, after I put the hood back on I tried it one last time.. Nothing again.. Any ideas?
  9. I have a 67'WRL411 SSS that I cant get to start. This started back in July before I moved to Delaware. I tried getting it to run so I could use it out here. It had a issue with a spark plug wire that was bad so I replaced that and my coil looked like it was the original one so I changed that as well to a MSD one. Right before I left I was able to get it to start when I would jump it with my truck, once I would disconnect the jumper cables it would die. I didnt have time to deal with it so I just threw it in the trailer and brought it out here. Now I am trying to get it started, it wouldnt even start after hooking it up to my truck. I took the alternator to a shop to have it tested, they said it worked fine but if it was dying once I would disconnect the cables it could be the voltage regulator. I swapped that yesterday, it turned over a few times but wouldnt start. I took the battery and had it tested, it wouldnt hold a charge so I got a new one. Hooked it up, it turned over twice, now all I hear is the starter clicking. no attempts to crank at all now. Im gonna go get it tested but I dont think its the starter.. I need help so I can get this thing running to sell it or drive it before the winter hits here. Please reply here or email me @ bisquick246@comcast.net I leave to Idaho for 3 weeks starting the 11th. I want to drive this at least once this year.
  10. And how can I free up some horses to get 90?
  11. Thats not a 5 speed tranny in the back is it? I am wanting to find a 5 speed that will fit my 411 SSS. I cant stand top speed of 55 when everyone around me is going 75-80 at work...
  12. do you know where i could find the spacer for the 5 speed?
  13. I posted my ideas on another thread and was told i should create my own THREAD. So here it is and thanks for the ideas i have gotten so far... I will post the pictures soon... First off I know everyone wants to see pictures so once i get it out of the shop I will take some and post them. I recently bought a RL411 SSS Wagon for 900.00 in Boise and I want to do some work to it... It needed a new Brake Master Cylinder, rear wheel cylinders and the carbs needed to be synced... I am not one to keep a car stock for the most part because i like to turn heads and i saw potental with this car. I dont plan on going extreme with this like i did with my Lexus IS300 because i bought this to be a summer driver (cheaper on gas then a lifted 01' Superduty with 37" tires.) but the more i see peoples ideas come to life on here and seeing that awesome picture FISCH drew I am creating some of my own. I am thinking of flat black over my already red paint then 1000 grit sanding it so the red comes out around the contours, i do like the side exhaust on his drawing so i might use that but i do want to lower it a little. Tint out the windows as well as convert them to electric, possibly do a rag top, do, not redo the interior, clean up the engine and engine bay, finally blacked out wheels with red accent. maybe some low profiles with redlined side walls. I am curious and this is where the questions come in 1. Is there a way to convert my rear drums into disc? 2. Can i use any VW part on this car? I also have a 66 project bug i am chopping and i noticed that both cars have pretty simple parts. 3. can i mount a 5 speed tranny to the existing r16 motor and will i need to upgrade anything on the motor? I tac out driving to work because i have to go 65-70 for about 12 miles and i know thats not good. 4. what kind of upgrades can i do to get more HP out of my car? 5. Who makes a good set of lowering parts for this car? Any info or ideas for this car would be appriciated and i hope i am not pissing anyone off w/ the mods i am doing. Anyone can restore a car but to customize it shows someones personality, creativity and imagination.
