Yes, checked those. The previous owner purchased a set but they aren't the right size. They fit the trunk for a coupe or sedan. P/N 4728 is about half the size I need. Before they went out of production they were approximately $150 ea. !

Just re-installed the original struts for the hatch. The previous owner took them off because they lost their lift, but lucky for me, we are heading into summer. Next fall and winter I'm sure they will be "dead" again. You just cannot find these "Stay Assemblies" anywhere.

Nice car! I can't believe how hard it is to find some parts for these cars. Are those 14 or 15 inch wheels on the hatchback?

I went to a local salvage yard and the owner told me I was out of luck. She said I wouldn't find anything this old (as she motioned toward the Datsun) around here. The best she could do was a couple of late 80's Zs.

That would be great! Hopefully I will have a spare hour in the next couple of weeks to run out to our foreign car salvage yard here. I will definitely "spread the word" if I find anything good :-)

I found one in Mexico, actually....but thanks. What I would like is an arm rest for the driver's side door. There is a foreign car junkyard here, but in the Midwest, most of these have rusted away years ago. If you happen to see one.........you can definitely give me a shout!
