  1. MetalMonkey Mattlock===Do you recall any details from the listing? The guy I bought from never registered the truck (according to name on b.o.s. said tag office), said he bought it from a Jamaican guy. Thats all he said, I only know what I can see on the truck condition wise. Had a Fayette county tag but I bought it in Heard. Or maybe what the asking price has been on this thing atleast?
  2. Thanks everyone, point taken. It was a good feeling to be able to drive the truck home 70 miles without issue. No trailer for this one just a little gas. It has a slight hesitation when first on the gas so first thing to do may be carb swapping. Hows the weber set up treating yall? Also red76, the bench is a new recovery, a good one eitherway.
  3. It has some surface rust but not a single spot eaten through. Even the bed is as clean as the engine bay. The truck cost me 3 grand, other threads showing trucks bought for $150.00. Making my pockets feel very empty right now.

  5. So I have sought after a 510 for ever but can't ever seem to get one at the right time or price. I finally happened about four of them by chance, guy listed a 69 roadster locally on craigslist and mentioned 510's. I went to check them out cause he decided he may be willing to sell. I jumped at the oppertunity, hard to keep a poker face. The cars were either too expensive or too rotten. The fabrication needed would be beyond my capabilities. He did have a 1976 620 pickup sitting in the driveway, still had hay in the back. He had been using it to haul around the farm. L20 with the four speed, still very original down to the Green paint, mud flaps, etc.. Long story short I bought the truck and its condition seems very clean and original. Still has its type written warrenty card, bought in East Point GA and floated around here ever since. Price seemed a bit high but I will let you guys be the judge. Check these few pics and let me know what you think. Not sure what I want to do wit it. Was gonna 'punk kid' it out but it may be too well preserved. Maybe you import atlanta boys know the truck? If I can figure out the best way to upload pictures here...
