I have a 720 and am swapping my 96 ka24de in it and the headers get in the way, they hit the frame so i can't get it to fit. any ideas about which headers I can buy or how to make it fit..... I was thinking about getting short tube headers because then all i have to do is fab the downpipes? Is that a good idea? any answers will help! Thanks!

anyone know what headers will work best for the swap and which ones will actually fit my ka in my 720 truck!?

Also what kind of headers should I use for the KA24de because I need to fabricate new dowmpipes also and the stock headers don't fit in my truck with everything else!

Thanks for the link! That really helps! I have the transmission from the ka also, but its a 5-speed auto! so I dunno if the transmission will fit...I measured it and it looks like a fit! We put The KA in the truck but the sway bar is in the way and I need to fabricate the oil pan...! Can't wait to get the fab started! When we do that it should fit! And the headers? Any idea how to do those?!

Hey guys I'm pretty new to this forums thing, but i need some help. I bought a ka24de and tranny from the 240sx to put in my 720, and was looking around on here for help on how to modify mounts..., and i saw a few people saying to get a ka from the hard body unfortunately i didnt do that.... So I'm kinda lost on what to do. I know with any swap your going to have to modify something, but I don;'t know what to do to make it fit. I know you have to modify motor mounts or get mounts from a hard body ka and they should bolt up right? Also, the torsion bar is right in the way of the downpipe, any ideas? Any other recommendations will be greatly appreciated! Thanks, I will post pics soon!

do i have to get the ka pump? or can i get one from a different car that will work on the ka? cause i have a 720 and im swapping the z24 for the ka.....

My ka24 power steering pump is dead and I need to know what kind fits or if theirs any other one that's not a ka pump and how I can make it fit...... I've been trying to find a power steering pump for my ka but I have no clue what will work! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated thanks lemme know!

what kind of power steering pump can mount up to a ka24 cause the guy i bought it from took it without telling me. i bought the whole engine but he took it so i need to find out which ones fit the ka or where i could find one, i called local jyards but they dont have them....

Ha oops *z24! Well what's easier vg30 or a L28?

My dad swapped a L28 in his 71' 240 it doesn't run anymore so he said he'd sell me it! I will post pics tomorrow! I kinda want to put the L28 instead of the vg30!

Will it fit? And what can I do to make it fit, it's pretty long engine for the short nose of a 720! What should I do?

Hi i have a 1984 720 and am getting ready to swap a vg30NA in my truck so I can tow my shifter kart and trailer to races. I need some input i've never swapped a vg but have done a 280z swap into a 240z body. ideas or some things to think about will be greatly appreciated.
