  1. similar problem. i have a 71 510 wagon with a LZ22 and a dogleg 5 speed from a truck. this setup was running in another 510. when i installed it the guy didnt include the starter. i used the starter that was on my L18. it worked fine but ended up chewing up my flywheel. im assuming i need the starter out of a 2.2L ??? i have another flywheel from a 2.2L i just dont want to have this happen again. any help here would be great.
  2. i cant seem to find the exact info on the offset but i believe it was 4mm they are 15x7's im too poor for panasports or custom offsets i went with what was available on ebay at the time. they do stick out a bit in the front but dont hit the fender... yet. i cheated and lowered the car about 1-2 inches with photoshop. :) i havent actually installed adjustable my coilover setup yet. have the strut conversion in the works. project is on hold because im loosing my garage in the next few months.
  3. i installed Amber city lights wired into my parking lights into all 4 H4 converted headlights on my wagon. it looks prety sweet when the headlight are off. there is a place in Seatac WA that used to sell a sort of sticker that was pre cut to fit 5 or 7 inch round headlights. the sticker was about 1/16 thick and was made to protect your H4 conversion headlights from rock chips and such. it was available in sheets as well, cut your own. they had clear, smoke tint and yellow. i haven't been there in years so you'll have to call and see if its still available. hell of a lot cheaper and wont fade.
