  1. Very nice! Is this the same manufacture that is making the other panels you currently sell? I know its early but, estimated price?
  2. Very nice wagon! My uncle in NYC is also going to take delivery his wagon pretty soon. Were doing some finishing touches on it down here in Miami but it should be there by the summer. We need to get back a strong 510 community in the NY/NJ/CT area. I went to Caffeine & Carburetors last weekend and was amazed at the amount of 2002's & GTA/V's there and not one 510 (or 311 or S30) was present. We've got to change that!

Very good eye! They are 15x7.5 -3et. Here is a side view pic I took of the Yellow Bird wearing the MA86's one night before we headed out to the Daikoku-futo (and for some highway fun runs).
  4. Man a lot of whiners everywhere about the sound, the cars and yet I found today's opening qualifications to be the most exciting in probably the last 5yrs! There is a good mix of drivers out there this year and a new platform where everyone will learn on together; how is that not exciting? It's good to shuffle the deck sometimes!
  5. Man, sorry Corey I forgot all about this grill. Haven't been on ratsun in awhile. I'll send you another PM.
  6. I have made the trek over from the East Coast to Cali to attend the last 7 JCCS shows. I will admit that I have seen the transition from "quality street car" entrants into what looks to be a free for all parked onto the lawn. I've also noticed that the age group in attendance has dramatically change from the mid 30's -50 year old guys into the younger 20's to teenagers; Which means this niche market has now become mainstream. Being mainstream isn't a bad thing, but it does start a shift from the identity that this show originally embodied into something else. It is because of this that it is inevitable that JCCS will need to start some major refinements to go along with its growth. Part of that is the start of implementing some form of discrimination towards its entrants. I think this is the only way to go in order to allow the best available cars to be showcased. I don't think of this as a knock against the "build in progress" cars or the "true" daily drivers; I look at it as more about growth of the Japanese Classic Car community's presence in the automotive landscape worldwide; And that JCCS is the leader of showcasing some of the best vintage Japanese cars in this country. Koji and the JCCS crew are aware that as the show progresses from its quiet and humble beginning of being one of the only of its kind states side, (this isn't the case so much anymore), and that as the community increases and continue to draw the interest of even more people, this show has to move beyond the "meet" feel and into something greater. Change is good.
  7. He is in Australia. Those are standard issue bumpers for all year P510's.
  8. Hey Dave, Sorry to hear that you had to sell the truck. Hopefully it went to a good home; especially for that steal of a price he got!

That spoiler was made by a friend of mine specifically for his Bluebird. Its a one of and not in production.
  11. GL w/ your pending sale Lawrence. I've seen this car in person each year for the past 4 yrs @ JCCS. Always been a head turner and amazing tribute. One of my favs (and John Morton's too). Will be missed. Uhh, aren't you new to 510's yourself? IJS
  12. Nice project! Doesn't look too bad; I see typical rust in the water settling areas that would require small patching. YI've seen new replacement rocker for the Hako for like 50000 +/-JPY. Hoods, fenders and trunks are easy to get (but i'm sure you already know that). I think the hardest part would be getting replacement doors but even that there are a few scrap 4dr Hakos on YJA right now with decent doors so its not impossible to find. GL w/ the project!
  13. I would love attend this yr! I have an uncle who is planning on drive his wagon up from Miami to NY around the same time. I'll see if I can convince him into making a pit stop along the way.
