    slow rebuild

this is the slow rebuild of my 1200 sedan it was a track car for 30ish years.I started doing some work on it this weekend got it up in the air and pulled the flares off. I did get to look her over pretty good, she has had both quarter panels tail light panel core support replaced many time and at some point spent a little time on her roof. future plans are to finish the motor and get her back on the road. I would like to make a good driver and weekend track car without loosing the history of the car.
  5. It sits in the garage waiting for the new motor to be finished and some parts to be swapped over from the parts car. Maybe some new paint.. Maybe?
  6. gitting back in to Datsuns this is my sedan ex GT5, Hade it running but lost a motor so it sits should have it going by spring. she's lead a very hard life. back in the day about a year ago
  7. Up date on the paper work. took 4 trips to dmv and two to CHP it legal ca plates and all. Looks like i will start driving it more. Picked some new parts A14 short block 12.5 forged pistons custom crank and cam, set of 13x9 diamond wheels not bad for a 3Hr drive.
  8. Its sad to a 510 so half assed that baby had some quality fab work done to it. Glad to see its getting the love it deserves.keep up the good work and keep the pictures coming.
  9. Its had a hard life its been a track car since 75 lots of spliced quarter panes and core supports. even the roof has bondo from a Off course excursion that left it sitting on its roof. Ive got most of the paper work taken care of with D.M.V have a 30 day permit just need a vin verification and she gets a new set of plates. cant wait to take it on some fun runs.
  10. It was a slow trip but it did good. temp gauge died but that didn't matter i had no dash lights to see it anyway.
  11. More pictures some of it being raced in the late 70s early 80s. and pics after i got it back and started working on it.
  12. The 69 got some pretty new shoes. the price make them look even better.
  13. Nice looking Z No frills the way it should be.
