  1. Would a Z32 cover work for you? seems like it would. I have one im not using, pm if interested.
  2. Well he did say for his 620 in his first post. Sadly that setup won't always work so this talk about m/c's is still valid. It's much cheaper to test and what not with stuff at the junkyard and then buy a new one once you know it'll work. Then you have a tested setup and a new part. Not many new frontiers floatin around the yards. On a side note: I might relocate the clutch m/c anyway to allow a booster. Shift it over and rebend/make clutch pedal Maybe a s13 or 300z one. Still gotta research more.

Oh and for the lack of attendance and no progress....the baby's mama bailed. Had to deal with court, custody, support, etc. With only my income and no change in bills funds ran out as well as free time. As of now tho, tax refund has allowed me to progress. Hopefully itll be a roller and drivetrain installed before those funds run out too. My personal victory out of all that drama....Im bangin the ex's 19 yr old friend/coworker. :fu:

Need to get you guys caught up. Here are some pics of back when the back half of the frame was modded for the subframe. Since these were taken some more work has been done, but no pics yet. Coming soon tho.

damn thats got more crust than an orignal pan pizza!!
  8. Would that m/c work just fine without a booster? or is there a better disk/disk m/c option? I would imagine a lil bit of pushrod lengthening may be involved, but that seems fairly straightforward.
  9. I hate to resurect, but..... I cant recall ever driving a non boosted disk/disk brake setup, but given the proximity of the brake and clutch m/c's in the 521 it'd be much simpler to avoid adding a booster at all. Any opinions and experience on that setup would be appreciated. Also, did the 79-81 280zx disc/disc 15/16" m/c come boosted? That m/c appears to be an ideal option. thnx

ive been usin the same preparer for nearly a decade. Never had a problem and regularly get high returns and deductions i would never have thought of. Costs more than above, but i think its worth it.
  11. The red 521 belongs to a different member, but yes it is notched and body dropped. Im hazy on whether its still even on the road. Havent heard much from him personally since the brakes failed and it rear ended a semi. On a side note...yea, im back. More to come...

    521 radio

The radio guts are behind the dash while the knobs and face plate make a dash sandwich from the front.
  13. Im actually going to pass on making strut towers. Ill be attempting QA1 style coilovers so I can have as close to stock bed as possible. You wouldnt happen to still have those measurements of the stock 240? Tryin to find an un-modded one that i can measure is gonna be a challenge.
  14. To be more specific, I meant the subframe itself rotates on the wheels so I was wondering what process did you use to get the angle right and decide what distance from the ground to secure it in relation to the frame. If the subframe sits on the floor its in a compressed state in relation to suspension travel and pitches down in te front until the front mounts touch the ground. Am i making any sense?
  15. Anyone east of Vacaville on 80 (i.e. Sac) that would like to caravan/cruise together canPM me. Ill do what I can to help coordinate if theres an interest in doing so. Abe- If you can make it, which datto are you gonna bring?
