  1. I appreciate all the help, but I still can't find a supplier to confirm the parts will fit my car. 1.8 motor, 280Z turbo trans. I need an aluminum flywheel and clutch. Flywheel is 12" diameter, 120 tooth, 7.87" surface Input shaft is 1" diameter, 24 spline. I understand that the Roadster clutch is the best economical deal, but can't find a supplier who will match a clutch and flywheel. any suggestions ? thanks
  2. Once again, forgive me for my ignorance, but I'm new to 510's I am bringing an old road race car back life. It has a new 1.8 L race motor, a 280ZX 5 speed trans. I want to use an aluminum flywheel and need to know what clutch and throw out bearing and bearing holder fits this set up. The current parts all work, but I don't know how old/worn they are and there are no identifying numbers on them. Also I see talk of 200mm and 240mm flywheels, what do I need to use ? thanks again Michael Rankin
  3. Don't know, since I'm new to 510's I trusted Rebello and Troy Ermish on this.
  4. I bit the bullet and bought a pulley dampner combination from Rebello, a little expensive but the right thing to do for a race motor.
  5. OK, BHJ says 4 weeks to get the pulley, I do not have that much time.....any other ideas ?
  6. I ended up buying the BHJ race pulley (4" vs 6" diameter) thanks for all the help.
  7. Anyone know where I can get a small diameter crank pulley ?
  8. Thanks for all the help. this is for an old race car that I am restoring to race again....trying to put everything new on it as much as possible.
  9. anybody know where to get new rear drum brake adjusters ? thanks
  10. OK, I got lots of help for installing aluminum brake drums, now I want to install new rear wheel bearings. Since you guys have done this before, what do I need to do to remove the hubs to get at the bearings ? I have all the brake parts off, backing plate is loose, what's mext ? thanks Michael
  11. I have a pair of new aluminum drums from a 240Z, what modifications do I have to make to fit them on my 510 ? It appears that they will not fit without modifying the backing plate but I don't know what to do...Help please.
  12. I made a big mistake on my comments about the wheel scammer....it is not Gabriel Vidal it is a guy who says is name is Yevgeniy Shmurak. Phone is 913-530-4646 Sorry Gab, you seem to be trying to correct your error.
  13. I will find RTB, I have his real name and phone number....here it is for anyone else who has been cheated, no robbed, by him Gabriel Vidal. 913-536-4646. He is in the Kansas City area. I trust people, especially car guys, so this has me very angry and I will use resources to get even fix it with RTB, (even if it costs me a lot more than the $430 he stole from me.
