  2. http://the510realm.com/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=28807&p=251493&hilit=corbeau+bracket#p251493 Photobucket pics don't work, but you get the idea.
  3. Thanks Ooph! I tried to use the link you posted and my antivirus software said Nope! Couldn't navigate to the info. Still on the lookout for anyone who might have a 521 radio laying around. Crack it open and take a few pictures. I'll do the same in this discussion thread as soon as I get it up and running again. Thanks in advance.
  4. I used Corbeau brackets. They fit well, but likely are specific to the Corbeau seats I'm using. Pics are available on therealm.
  5. Thanks.... Hope you can find it. I hope to get this repaired and to a 521 owner who wants to rock to stock.
  6. Take the lid off that radio and snap a couple of pics of the wiring off that switch! It would be super helpful!
  7. Here are some photos to guide the conversation: Front: Back: Note the Model Number. And, the switch in question, which I don't even know what it does, is on the right. Closeup of the Switch: Schematics and/or photos of the completed connections would be greatly helpful. Thanks Ratsun.
  8. Hello out there. I picked up a stock radio (with chrome Bezel!) a while back and have started fixing it up. The unit powers on just fine. But, there is a switch on the bottom of the unit that needs to be rewired. Anyone got a schematic that can assist in this endeavor? Or, in the absence of a schematic, a couple of clear photos? The switch has to do with the input signal and without it wired, does not have reception/signal. Thanks for the help!
  9. Great story. I feel like there is more to tell though...perhaps why your friend is so drawn to bluebirds and Datsuns. May i suggest...finish the story, include some promo for you and your friend's business in there somewhere, and approach BAT about running the story on their site. This stuff is prefect for car-geeks and will serve as promo in many ways.
  10. I'm going to have to Google quite a few terms in order to fully understand. But, I'm worried that once i do, i will want to jump down the rabbit hole and my to-do list for the 510 will grow exponentially. That, and my general interest in things is fragmented already...i guess the world is just too big and interesting to stop learning.
  11. I plan on doing a KA24DE-T build at some point. Here in the rockies, our pump gas only goes up to 91. So, E85 presents itself as a valid option for a turbo build. Any thoughts on how E85 plays with high altitude? Also, how does E85 work with Cunifer lines? Would this material standup to the corrosiveness of E85? Thanks
  12. Seems the intake manifold is what makes the difference as to whether it will "mate" to the head or not. If you have the right manifold, you could put anything onto an L20, L18, L16, Xyz123, etc.
  13. Definitely interested. I'm in Colorado 80138. Can you provide some details on the head...shaved, needs work, etc? $? Thanks for reaching out....giving me hope at the very least.
  14. Yo ed...you don't want that u67...send it this way...
