I'm running Toyota 4x4 calipers with stock rotors in the front and completely stock drums in the rear. I think my real problem is the pads/shoes are cheapo Schucks parts. I figure if I move to some higher end pads and shoes I'll be fine.
These calipers produce a LOT more clamping force than the stockers though so even different pads may not eliminate the lockups. I want to replace the rear drums with disks, just haven't had the chance yet, probably after this coming season.
Not sure I'll be posting pictures of the 210, it's not my car and needs even more work than the Z. I'm reworking it for some friends who bought it for $300.00. The prior owners had cut a hole in the roof to install a sun roof but never completed it, instead they screwed on a piece of plexiglass with RTV to seal the hole. I've welded in a piece to fix the hole but in the process found out something big had fallen on the left side roof at some point. Whoever fixed it did a pretty good job, the filler was very thin and it was almost impossible to tell it was damaged until the bondo came up after I started welding. It's amazing how far that heat will travel through thin metal. So now I get to redo all that work as well as all the basic maintenance the car needs. It's a good thing I like working on cars, otherwsie I'd give it back to them the way it is. :)
