whatever anyone feels is an apprpriate price, as you guys know she needs a tranny and a driveshaft. engine is rebuilt and still strong. suspension is good. manual transmission. she needs: door panels, headliner, windshield is cracked (not a big one), hood is creased (windstorm), and does not have a carpet kit. hardly any rust. red paint job is completely matte and will not buff to shine. no door locks. dash has minor cracks. all gauges work. heater works. stereo works. good bench seat. slider aftermarket glass. no rust in bed. lil hustler logo on bottom of doors (stock) she is at the mechanics in storage. i have been hunting for parts but she was my daily driver and i cant wait around and hope to get lucky. im having a shitload of guilt right now, but she has to find a new home. ill get pics up monday. i am in hollywood, california. please text 323 823 9648 vanessa

26" 3N71B automatic transmission and the bolts for the bell housing (an auto from an '71-'73 510 should work too) and the complete driveshaft with the center bearing '73 or older. looks like there isnt anything wrong with the engine after all. YAY. i might rebuild if its time though. gonna do important stuff first. if anyone has these parts, i am in central LA and i can drive to you as long as it doesnt take more than a day to get to you. i have CASH. please help me out. i miss my truck so much. please TEXT me, as i cant keep checking the site at work because they are starting to get wise. haha 323 823 9648 kikioreekee@gmail.com vanessa

Dottie got towed to the mechanics today! Im SO EXCITED!

This is what happened! "Now what could be more likely is the transmission "slipped out of gear", and with the driver's foot on the floor, overreved the engine and threw/bent a rod. That may mangle a piston, but there's a lot more damage than that. But that doesn't explain the "bolts falling out" bit." but shes going to the mechanic monday, so we will see what happens. i hope we can rebuild. i also need a hood (mine flew over the roof in a windstorm and creased), door panels and a windshield. i am in los angeles and can come get whatever anyone may have. thanks 323 823 9648 (text) kikioreekee@gmail.com thanks for being so nice. i miss my truck so much!

heehee yes im a girl, duh haha. ok, so we are clear about how wrecked she is? so...what to do? try and rebuild the engine again? and put in a new trans and clutch? or replace the engine? if i wanted to put a chevy engine in (due to lack of datsun availability) is that doable? then i have to replace tranny/clutch that will work with, correct? help me. im retarded.

hey folks i posted a while back for a tranny for dottie, my lil hustler. well while getting my shit together to go pick up the one i was offered in san bernardino (thank you! i still might need it) the bolts fell off while i was driving and the tranny slipped and, well the engine is now toast. looks like a bent piston. the engine was due for a rebuild anyway. what do you guys suggest? i finally have cash. what should i do? i am not scrapping her. anything you got, tell me.
