Ok What transmission do you guys recommend for the ka24det swap? I would like a 6 speed if there is one for a ka, if you guys could let me know what your running that would be awesome.

Alright cool thanks for the info mike. Im looking around at different places to piece together a rubber bushing set for the front and rear end.

I dont see a point in that at all im not restoring a datsun here i dont want the original seats or dash or anything like that so parts car is a waist of money. Later down the line if i fell like doing a restored datsun ill buy a stock 510 and start there. Now back to the question of is there a good place to buy new rubber bushings for the steering parts?

Why not? Your not a fan of polyurethane? I placed the order on hold so you can tell me why not haha. And wheres a good place to buy some rubber bushings? Edit: Never mind just read some ratsun reviews and you guys say they are noisy and wear out the metal parts to. Im looking for some rubber bushings now thanks for the heads up mike. My friend has polyurethane on his jetta and its fine but i trust your guys experience with products. To amazon to find the rubbers haha

Hey have not been on here today been a long day. I just ordered a bunch of bearings from energy suspension parts. Going to take all the suspension out of the car and clean it up and find a place to have it powder coated if you know a good place in Sacramento let me know.

Does any one in the sacramento area know a good place to find a ka24de 16 valve?

Im not afraid of a bit of a challenge you guys will see of the next couple years this car will be a fantastic car. the flares on the back are fiber glass on metal with bondo on it should come off with a little persuasion.

I cant believe that skipped my mind durrrr :poke: Thanks for pointing that out would have sucked to get to pick in pull and see the motors in the car all wrong haha. Man that really limits where i can get a ka from. Have a wanted add up on craigslist hoping some one wrecked there car for me. :P Theres a 2 240sx's at the pick in pull 22 miles from my house a 93 and a 90. Was hoping to get a obd2 ka but oh well. If you know anyone selling their used ka let me know people :thumbup:

Im not sure where this goes but though maby here im looking for a motor for my Datsun 510 swap. I though this would be another place to try and find an nice motor. I want a ka in decent shape obviously cant have holes or cracks in the block. Would also like a tranny if you have that to thanks guys.
