  1. You realize that $1000 will buy you 1/10 of a bitcoin right now right? You can't really compare prices a couple years ago to what they are now and expect to be able to buy that cheap again. Yes there are other crypto currencies but just because they are a cryptocurrency doesn't mean they will all blow up like bitcoin did. IMO more risk than I'd care to take.
  2. Nothing beats a steel wheel for cheap and strong.
  3. They have their uses, and when used properly cause no issues that I've personally witnessed, such as alarms or led lighting. I do agree that solder and heat shrink method is the best. I am also a fan of the glue lined butt connectors. They are actually an approved method for wire repair by GM and they come with the majority of pigtail connectors.
  4. If everything is new in the steering system then I would assume that the steering box is worn out and would require replacement.
  5. Didn't you say there's no cat on your car, and you have an aftermarket exhaust? What did you think was going to happen? This is normal and your wasting your time. Please continue though, it's great when you ask for help and don't take anybody's advice.
  6. Get some driveshafts made at a shop. They'll be new and balanced and it doesn't cost that much. Get on a pc and upload pics using photobucket.
  7. My car blew a headgasket two days before the event so I couldn't make it. The pictures and videos look like it was an awesome turnout. The next one is in July, not set on the day yet. I'll post when I get the info.
  8. Hope some of you guys signed up. Registration is full and were just a few days away. My car is still in pieces, I see a few late nights ahead.
  9. Did anybody sign up? Not sure if any spots are left but you can call the number on the flyer and find out. I am going to be there in my Camaro again.
  10. Trust me, if you go once you'll want to come back. They plan on doing bigger tracks later down the road after they get enough regular attendees.
  11. It really is and it's a blast. Surprised nobody else replied yet.
  12. At least they didn't trash it. Please tell me you didn't trash your smog parts.
  13. This is a great time for beginners or track nuts. I went to my first one back in December and had a blast. The track is tight with one long straight. All food and drinks are included. The people are great. The atmosphere is great. All around great and you won't be disappointed. It's put on by Racefreely, you can find them on facebook and twitter. @theracefreely All cars and trucks are welcome. Always a good variety of vehicle show up.
