  1. the tire sizes are throwing me off a little. Are they 16" front and rear?
  2. I have one on my SR20det powered 240sx. I have been really happy with it. Pedal is a little on the stiff side for a street car.... but obviously that wouldnt concern you. My car puts down in the 170whp range and didnt have any issues with slipping or strange pedal feel. I used the car mostly for drift events, which is hard on clutches. I was lucky and purchased mine used. one of the cool things I found is being able to buy individual parts for the whole setup.
  3. heh heh heh it says rear-end entrance
  4. yah, thats a toyota motor. beond that I got nothin
  5. it was still there tuesday when I went up. looked to be in a 'fresh' row.
  6. they look like every other cortina. just with GT badges on the rear quarters. Its weird all these cortinas comming for sale. There are two on CL seattle right now!
  7. Good luck man, Ive been out of work for a while now. Do you have any actual brewing experience? I saw Mac & Jacks was hiring for swing shift but they wanted actual brewing experience.
  8. You need a high pressure fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, injectors, sensors, throttle body, ect... oh and something to control all those things :D A lot of the simpler aftermarket programmable EFI units just use your coil to get RPM signal, some you have to set up with a hall effect sensor on the crank, some need to be setup off the cam. I believe the older nissan/datsun EFI systems just get RPM signal from the dizzy. It basically comes down to your buget and what you are after with the car. If you can get by with using an older OEM system, and figure it out, then go for it. If you want something you can tweak and play with, check out any of the aftermarket EFI computers.
  9. yeah, I'll get it when I get to the shop.
  10. Ivey engines in porland probably has them.
  11. Its a good weekend. My dad will be down there racing, however I wont be making it down this weekend. The swapmeet is pretty cool, as is the car show. My dad will be driving his Brabham BT-21
  12. Fisch, Im pretty excited to see this project happen. 5.xxx gear is going to be pretty low for any L series transmission. Here is a handy calculator you can use to see RPM and whatever speed you feel like. Its based on most of the Z transmissions, but you can put in whatever ratios, tire size, and engine redline you feel like. I dont know how the L18/20 is at freeway speeds, but I generally like to be around 3000 rpm at 65-70mph. http://www.geocities.com/z_design_studio/transmission.html
