  1. I've got these buckets that are in great shape. I picked them up for $150 with nice 3'' Belts for both sides, and it came with all the rails. I ended up getting some new seats in my spare chassis so I'm not going to run them. I liked them becuase they kinda looked like an oldschool race bucket. I'm in central california and I can travel a little ways, let me know if your interested. I'm 140lbs and they are pretty snug. Any bigger and they might not be comfortable.
  2. A lot of people tell me I have a big turbo but I don't think its that big at all. Got any pics of your manifold by any chance?
  3. Thanks man that might be helpful in the future.
  4. Its got a log on there already, but I'd like to go with a top mount to give a bit more room under there behind the turbo. I'll know exactly what I'm working with next week when I put the master cylinder on. Also with the external wastegate flange already fabbed into the manifold I can get rid of my actuator on the turbo.
  5. Hey guys, long time no see. I'm trying to wrap up my 71 and I'm looking for a top mount that will bring my turbo (GT3071R) more forward and make it sit higher. I'm not really worried about hood clearance right now, just about having room for a 3'' downpipe and all the extarnal wastegate stuff.... I've looked through a few build threads and haven't really found what I'm looking for... Any ideas? I found this one for a couple hundred bucks, but I really dont know what would work. Here is a small picture of how it sits right now.
  6. Hey everybody whats up. I've posted over at The 510 Realm before and I always hear about this forum. Anyways I've got a 71 510 coupe that has been in the works for a little over a couple years, my pride and joy. The goal is to have her on the road by this time next year, but I need a lot of info and help, which is why I thought I'd sign up and say hello :) The powerplant is an S14 SR turbo, which I'd never thought would be in there. I should be buying the mckinney motorsports mounts soon then go from there. Anyways, thought I'd throw out an intro post to say whats up. If anybody is interested here is the old build thread.
  7. I think that is the description of every good car community. There aren't many of us around today with that old school mentality. Everything comes from the heart, with nothing but good intent in mind, and I really think thats what keeps everything together and running.
  8. Thats my buddies 07. It made 283 wheel on a dynojet, bone stock nothing special. As for the g-yo, its all stock :) Just a DOHC 16 valve turd lol.
  9. Yota powered 93 geo prism lol. Hated it at first, but after adding parts and learning the car, its given me some extremely fun times. Go watch the two little video clips I posted in the random videos... Kinda old but...:D
  10. My GEO vs. my friends 2007 GT http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ES_5vGQ8fO0 My GEO on a little mountain run a while back. I wont drive like this anymore. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5T32_Us-wl0 Enjoy :D
  11. Thanks guys, and no its not my cuda :( haha. Sorry I should have givin a little more info on my 510, but I guerss its in a the buildup thread link. Its a 71 2-door and was my childhood dream car. My mother had a 79 2-door and I loved it, but oh man that thing was beat to hell! Except for the L20... still ran like a champ... But anyways, I always wanted an earlier one and I finally found this one and picked up the shell for 800. As for plans, the bodywork is about 95% complete, and from there I plan on going to full coilovers, decent rear disc setup to go with my 280's up front, and to get a KA in there. My main goal is to keep it as cheap as possible, and to have one hell of a fun car. I'm 20 years old, and THIS is what I've been mobbing for the last 4 years. I've had lots of fun in it but its time for something new!!
  12. This is Paul from the 510 Realm. Thought I'd drop in and say whatsup. Heres a pic of my 510, and here's the buildup thread that hasn't been updated in a long time :( lol. Anyways, glad to see another forum up and running, looking forward to browsing around.
