#1511724 DO WORK SON! Let's see pics of your Datsun/Nissans being used AS TRUC...

Posted by Charlie69 on Yesterday, 07:59 AM

Thanks Charlie!
The bumper came from factory, i've seen them in other southamerican countries...maybe it is a regional market's stuff..? But to me they should have installed the front bumper chromed corners also, they are made of plastic.
I guess these particular batches were made of whatever parts they have available at that time...hahaha..!

Sorry for the dog's crap behind..!

Thank you Genaro for the picture of your rear bumper it is sweet!  here in the USA 1983 to1986 trucks came with the chrome end caps.  I believe they are interchangeable with the black ones.  I see the on ebay all the time.

Complexity, Is the hippy using spell check again!!!  LOL

620 KA mounts work in a 720 for the KA swap?

Does this cover the L20B, Z20, Z22, & Z24 engines in the 720s?

It Is 1/8" NPT which is SAE National Pipe Thread, an USA thread size.  and you will not find a 1/8 NPT Temp switch, at least I have not been able to find one.

What I have use the past is Male adapter in brass that is 1/8" MNPT x 3/8" FNPT.  Then by a 3/8" NPT Sender.

You could bring yours Mr Tanker!  LOL

Seriously we do need a better Datsun turn out.  Going to have to go outside the SWDP club from the looks of our poor turn out this year.

I found this at Walmart yesterday.  I know it is not Hot wheels and it is not Datsun but being I had 55 and 57 Chevies as a teenager I had to buy it.

Might look better with a red 620 on the back of the roll back!

I would like to thank Red13 for briniging his family to the barbecue.  It was nice to meet you and your oldest son was a well mannered kid, good job raising your kids Red13.

There was a 521 there early and I did not get pictures but it was beautifully done.  I beleive it had a Toyota motor in it and it also had electric power steering.  This truck I thought when he pulled in it was MrBigTanker but it was not.

MrBigTanker did show up and I thank you for taking the time out of your busy day to come.  If I new that all we had to do was get Angela to come to get you to show up we would have done this years ago!  LOL

It was a beautiful day warm but with a lite breeze,  great people, Datsuns, and food!  Thank you all for another great SWDP Barbecue.

I personally feel like Seeker that George Kepsell was the most interesting person there and the stories and the photos to back up his stories is by far the best free Datsun intertainment aperson can experience.  Thank you George for coming and bringing your albums to the barbecue.

If I have missed anyone here I appologize,  It was Satuday and as I get older my memory is fading.

Thank you all for a great Barbecue!!!!

So The SWDP 10th Annual Barbecue was a great time, but it is time to get some more work done on my 520 before I have shoulder surgery.  I hope to get the exhaust and the wiring done before the surgery.

I knapped most of the day today and will get some yard work done from the monsoons tomorow and hopefully Saturday I will finish prepping the truck for a trip to the exhaust shop.
