    720 ute 'Ratsun'

Anyone know where to get a visor like that? I would love to find one of those
  2. Mike is right.. this will be a heck of a job but it has been done before. Might want to reach out to pbaugh and get his thoughts on the task. He swapped with a vg33e. Here is the thread: http://community.ratsun.net/topic/59062-my-vg33e-powered-84-720-4x4-aka-putt-putt/?hl=vg30&do=findComment&comment=1030565

    720 parts for sale

Hello everyone. Since I have purchased my latest 720, I really dont need a lot of body/interior parts that I have collected. I have brand new fenders, both sides. Good hood. Nice doors. Brand new, never used gas tank (Non KC). I have an extra console, seats, carpet, glass, pretty much everything you can think of. I am keeping the motor and the tran, but I have everything else. This was a completely functioning 720 but the new one is clean as a whistle so Im getting rid of the other one. Any interest in anything please PM me. I can tell you about whatever parts and take pics for you.
  4. Nice. Im looking forward to getting it done. I want to get this thing on the road 100% stock to see how it feels and mod it from there.
  5. $500... couldnt pass it up. Here are a couple more pics I have searched through the forums and found a couple good write-ups on replacing the head gasket but if anyone has any thoughts they would like to throw in on that subject... please do so. All is appreciated. Also... doing a 5-spd swap when it gets a bit warmer out.
  6. I would be interested in a aluminum one. PM me? Pic?
  7. Does that wedge work for the 84 z24 motor as well?
  8. Just picked this thing up. 104k. Interior near perfect. Nice body with a tab bit of rust on the bed. Blown head gasket. Dude said he bought it from Grandma and drove it for a few weeks. Changed the oil and the gasket blue shortly after that. Starts up and runs but blows white smoke after it warms up. I still have my other 720 with a ton of new parts which I havent put on it yet (headers, 38/38, etc etc) Im thinking that I will repair the gasket on this one and just get the head machined at the same time. Put my cam, headers, and carb on this one. Then pull the motor and tranny (and all the other parts I want off it) out of my other one, throw it on the engine stand and rebuild it from top to bottom. Couple outside pics. Ill grab more in a day or two.

    KA24?

I was searching around the junkyard yesterday and came across this motor sitting in the back of a pickup truck. It looks like a KA24 motor but wanted to see what you guys thought about it. Worth picking up? Im hopefully picking up another 720 today that is in really good condition. Maybe its worth throwing this one on the engine stand and building it, then throwing it in one of my 720s?
  11. Looks pretty cool man. Nice seeing custom designs. Keep up the good work
  12. Any updates? Like the truck.

    My 720

Wow... very cool truck. Inspiring. Good work!
  14. Well I broke down and just bought the 70-1112. Good news is, I now have a brand new 70-1112 that is meant to fit my truck and I also have a 70-1113 set that is going to be for sale. Anyone interested please PM me. We can work out a price.
  15. Sorry to bring up an old thread but I am getting all my ducks in a row to complete this build once the weather warms up a bit. I really would like to know if anyone has had any luck getting a 70-1113 header to fit on the 2wd truck. I really hope I dont have to send it back to get another one. I could possibly shim the motor/motor mounts, but I would rather not do that if I cant get around it. I guess I can order the proper one and try to sell this one but it sure would be handy to avoid all that :)
