Looks Good. I hope you did not pay retail for your bumperettes.

I bought a whole other truck for $500 that had them, then sold the truck. minus bumpers

The frame/engine/brake/suspension swap is done and back to being a driver. There are some quirks to work out still but I’m very happy to be near the end. There were issues

Made it to the Sliver Falls Meet.

Ahhhhhh I get it.
Ok, sorry for wasting everyone’s time. Is blue hand beebani? Or are those different people? I’m ordering the stuff I need now.

Bluehandsinc is mklotz(Ratsun handle) stuff, beebani is beebani;)

Cool, so I’d need to take the whole front end out of the donor. It looks like the ball trucks are going to ride better.

If your comfortable fabricating go for it. Or you could just get a later model truck.

It’s not a bolt on. Do a little googlin and you quickly find out that the two easy options are mklotz and Beebani’s brackets that retain the kingpins and allow you to use hardbody spindles for the disc brakes. Other more involved options are custom control arms or welding on the front frame section from a later truck to gain ball joints as well as disc brakes

I’m using the beebani stuff. Went from drum/king pin/torsion bar -> disc/ball joint/coilovers. Not cheap

Dude now is the time to cut and shorten the steering column. You can take 3” off.

I have a plan do get that done soon, before the bucket seats go in, but I have a time crunch to get it build and back on the road.

It's a lot of things. If it was closer, like JCCS, I'd go.

Just trailer it up like Mr.bigtrailer

That truck looks great! Welcome.

It’s crazy how many of these green trucks are coming out. I can think of 8 that I know are drivers in the NW now.

Mine will be back to being driver again in the next couple weeks
