  1. If only this was SCCA legal, and I win the lottery. Awesome news though.
  2. DP ( Design Products) Racing might know something about them. I would try emailing them, as I have never gotten through by phone. I know Troy Ermish makes a "small" kit that utilizes wilwood components. my best bet would be to call and ask him where he gets his rotor hats from. since you are looking for the same bolt pattern as the 280ZX, Arizona Z car may be able to help out since they sell their BABK for 280zx setups. Hope that helps some.
  3. Hey everyone, I just thought I would share here since some might appreciate it. I am a graphic designer by profession, and in my current career state I have a little bit of free time. To be honest, when I saw the new Datsun logo I wanted to scream at something. It looked as bland as a stale cracker. So, with some spare time, I had some fun doing my thing. I have created a new Datsun logo as well as my own iteration of the "Supersonic" tail light badge. I even took it a bit further and made some working 3D Models of them. Anyways, here is the link. I am not sure If I will be attempting to put these designs into reality on anything ( T shirts, stickers, actual badges). But hell, you never know. I would not be surprised to see one on my own race car at some point in time though. The link ( If you like, please hit the appreciate at the bottom!) http://www.behance.net/gallery/Datsun/10145083 Thanks for looking!
  4. As requested, here is another image. Here is a video from that event as well. Unfortunately I have found out that sometimes racing a vintage race car that is set up on the ragged edge is not a turn key operation. Being used to thrashing my old NX2000 set up for Street Prepared classification, missing my footwork in the 510 made me feel in every sense "An Amateur". I love the car. It is by far the most raw, temperamental and fun driving experience I have had... and I've even got the chance to drive the V10 Carerra GT. I am still just babying the car at this point in time. The event this video was taken I really confirmed I need a new brake master cylinder and that the carbs needed to be looked over ( which found out the carbs didnt have the vaccum ports on the accelerator pump cooling body plugged, now thats fixed!), along with other things as I'm sure all of you are used to and understand. Heres the video.
  5. just to clarify from my own research, 280ZX rotors and calipers WILL fit over 13x7 American racing libres. The caliper ears need to be shaved on the corners of the caliper, but they do fit. BRE ran a custom two piece rotor with a porsche caliper under these wheels in the trans am days. I would not be surprised if the dime had an article on how to do so.. but finding a digital copy of it might prove to be a headache. FYI- the original american racing libres i am referring to were 13x7 0 offset with a 4.5 in. backspace. You guys can do the math from there to dispute what fits and doesnt fit.
  6. What ended up happening to the possibility of making a run of adapters etc? If not wanting to do so, could you give the specs of the machining for the wheel spacers?
