Its gonna go in the 521 doesnt have to bolt right up as all existing mounts were torn ot by P/O Lets see a photo of the better one and a price please. Would save me having the other one fixed up.

I am in reno so Imight be able to pick up what I am interested in which would be L18 engine,and head stuff, no manifolds in or out. What exactly doyou have and can I get some better photos?

ok assuming the head is flat I am perfectly capable of taking the valve train apart but doing a valve job yourself? Doesnt that require aspecial fixture or something to kepp the anngle one the vlaves right? Now I have hand lapped valves AFTER the machine shop did the valve job.
As for a used head, again assuming the head is not warped I would like to simply improve on what I have. If I rebuild this head I know what I have.

My L18 I believe has a bad valve. What should I expect to pay to have the head re-done and what do I need to be sure is included. Can I get new rockers and springs? I know they should be sure the head is flat do a valve job, knurl the valve stem seal opening(Does that sound right?) Performance isnt an issue just reliability. I think A87 is on the head should I look for a completely different head or is it an ok one?

Awesome thanks a bunch. Now I guess there are probably different doglegs and/or 5 speeds out there. What should I look for to match up with my L18 in my 69 521? With the 4 speed the freeways almost out of the question LOL
Ok so I decided when I find a dogleg I am not going to be able to rebuild it myself. If I took it to the local tranny shop to have it rebuilt would they be able to get all the parts required? Whats an average price I should expect to pay?
