  1. Does anyone know if the clip that holds the heat/ac selector switch rod to the blend door is reproduced? Or does anybody have one? I tried door rod clips but they all broke... Hopefully everybody knows what I am talking about. :-$
  2. http://wichita.craigslist.org/cto/3697234308.html Just found this clean old girl. If I had the room I would pick it up!!!!
  3. That's a good idea. I will try that too. It could just be dirty contacts in the plug. Why didn't I think of that?!
  4. I will be sure and do that, just to make sure. But, even when nothing is working, I still have power on both sides of the fuse box. Still think that could be the issue?
  5. Ok, it occured to me that I didn't make this clear enough. The fuses are all fine, meaning I have power from the fuse box to the multi-function switch. I also have power directly from the battery to the switch(there are 2 hot wires going to the switch). Last night, everything started working again. The car didn't move at all, nor had anyone attempted to fix anything. For whatever reason, it goes through phases like this; everything works for a few days, then nothing works for a few days. There doesn't appear to be any rhyme or reason to it all. Any other thoughts?
  6. Yup they worked for a while. I have known the car for about 5 years now, and I got it about a month and a half ago. Everything was fine up until about 2 weeks ago. Ok, I take that back; the wipers work intermittently. That's why I thought it was the multifunction switch. Not a bad idea about jumping over the fuses. I will try that tonight. Thanks for the input!
  7. Yes there is. I have 2 hot wires(one from the battery and one from the fuse box) and I ran a jumper wire directly from them to the lighting circuit and nothing happened.
  8. Hey all, I have a '79 210 that acts like the multi-function switch is going bad. I bought a new one and installed it. I have the same results. I also tripple checked both multi-function switches and they both read exactly the same. I used a jumper wire on the harness plug(completely taking the switch out of the equation) and ran it from the hot side to the tail lights and then to the gauges. Still no lights. No blown fuses, and I double checked with a meter for resistance and I had 8.5-9 ohms of resistance everywhere. Obviously no short circuits. Does anybody have any thoughts? A bad ground maybe? Thanks!
  9. Heck ya it did! Poop on kids who ruin other peoples' stuff. I don't understand people sometimes... Yes, I got those in there as well! Sorry, I forgot to take a picture of those... I need to hit up the hardware store because I don't have anything to screw the e-brake cover down with and I have 1 screw holding on my dash bezel...
  10. And yes, those are Ford Ranger Splash floor mats.
  11. Here are some interior shots of "My Lady" aka the goon with the cow on the hood. A thankyou to Colourbox for the dash!!! I now know what my dash is SUPPOSED to look like! The first pictures are of what the dash used to look like, and of some of the rest of what is left of my seats. The last picture is my dash now! :w00t:
  12. lol sure is!!! No idea why....
  13. Hey everybody! I recently got my 210 from a friend. She is my daily driver and has 280,000 miles on the clock and still going strong! The electric choke gave up long ago, but it still has the dealer optioned glove (located behind the headlight for storage purposes) that you shove down the carburetor to get it to start. It is a 5spd and shifts great! Just don't get too close- you might get tetanus...
  14. Well, I called and the lady on the phone had no idea what I was talking about... I don't want to give you the run-around. Probably the best thing to do would be take a picture and show it to the cashier or something. What do you think?
