  1. not quick enough to catch a real life sighting.... hope british sit-com sightings count :P
  2. My name is Freeman, and I enjoy long walks on the beach, quiet sunsets, and roaring fires on cold nights. I think my ideal woman would have to have simple, classic lines, a firm body, and a good solid undercarriage. I have owned several cars in my short life, mostly big brutish Americans. names like Dodge Ram, Cadillac Sedan De-vile, Ford Taurus, Jeep Cherokee, and Ford Ranger come to mind. I bought an old Corolla to sell to a friend, a Mercedes that was dirt cheap, and finally my datto. She is a 1980 210 (b310) with 102k on the clock. Under the hood resides an A-15 mated to a 3-speed automatic (for now). As for the interior, there is none. When I bought her, she was very wet on the inside, so I stripped her down. She then got new plugs, front brakes, and one headlight. She is my DD and handles my commute from Redmond to SeaTac with the grace and poise of a geisha. Pictured: Class. Dignity. Datsun.
  3. This is it. This marks my final post as a sane human being. I am picking this up this weekend:
  4. I was thinking of going the parts car route, mostly because I need/want a complete interior. I guess I'll be on the lookout for a 5 speed with a blown motor, or something like that. Are there any that will bolt right up to an a15 and chassis or do i have to be "creative"?
  5. Hello all. I am heavily considering converting my "virgin" 1980 210 to a manual gear box and was seeking input from any and all sources. This is a longer term project, hell I don't even have a crane yet, but I'd like to know what to keep an eye out for as far as stockpiling parts and what not. Also, some words of wisdom and or success stories couldn't hurt either, I suppose. Thanks P.s. sorry if miss categorized, I'm a noob.
  6. Hope I ain't too tardy for the party. Moved to Redmond three weeks ago, bought this for four hundred last Saturday, already did the brakes, replaced a headlight, rebuilt carb, tore up dash, and drifted through a corner. I love starting the week this way :D
