  1. Hello Ratsun! I'm doing a RB25DET swap on my Z and I am Wondering if I put a z32 MAF in will it run, idle and drive properly without an initial tune?? I Heard It was a bolt on thing you can do but on many youtube videos and come blogs I see and here, have idling issues but, it may be their wiring or a ground issue that I'm seeing a lot of people are having. Any prior experience with this or a link or something will help! Reason I'm asking is because, the harness I'm getting has an option to add z32 MAF wiring and I'm wondering if i should just jump into that..? Thanks!! :)
  2. ill do that right now! thank you very much man! they have a kit on ebay for 1.5k BUT i dont want the piping or the driveshaft or intercooler in the kit. itll be much cheaper if i piece it together myself. its made in the usa! lol
  3. Well, okay. thank you!! B)
  4. Hey Ratsun im looking for mounts for a 2jz to go into my 72 240z. can anyone help ive tried for a week now and i cant find any :/
  5. I've been searching all over the Interwebz and I can't seem to find what the spring rate is for datsun/hardbody trucks. Maybe I'm not looking in the right places idk. But can anyone enlighten me on what the spring rate is on datsun/hardbody trucks. This information will be used for lowering purposes.
  6. Ahh sorry my noobieness dogleg not dogbox
  7. Hey ratsun world! Ok, i have a 74 datsun 620. I bought it off some guy who did some modification to the trucks l18 and swapped trannys. "i think he swapped them" anyway! I have a 5 speed dogbox tranny and would like to know where these trannys came from originally.
  8. For hauling each shock was rated at 8800 lbs or something crazy like that believe me your can still haul. I had 3 guys jump in the bed. nothing moved. I still have 3 leafs. Well it worked for me. I haven't bottomed out and I drive hard and there are speed bumps and pot holes for days here.
  9. do you need to buy the airdam and the front spoiler? or is it an either or thing? sorry im a newbie
  10. i found a solution to stiffing up lowered Datsuns in the rear!!! you may think im crazy but 99 dodge 3500 diesel base model front shocks (maybe rear i cant remember) will keep your datsun low and stiff and you can remove leafs!!! these are the shocks!! part number at o'reilly auto parts this is what it looks like! this is what my datsun 620 looks like im running 3 leafs and a 3 in lowering block with these springs and all you have to do is remove the inner steel bushing out of the rubber bushing and it bolts right up. this is what it looks like without the metal bushing and it rides soooo nice!! :w00t: i hope this helps
  11. Hey guys. so I still haven't resolved my pogo stock problem or up loaded the pictures but I an very close to a crazy solution and if it works I'll put up a detailed build thread about it. if not there goes 100 bucks lol. I appreciate everyones opinion. What I did do today was add in a stiffer leaf it did help! I also found out my shocks were blown. My solution will come tomorrow if it worked. If not then I'll tell yall what I did so you don't do it.. Lol thanks again and sorry for lagging on the pictures
  12. My rear tire is tucked. I'll post a picture asap. It's my profile picture but you can hardly see it.. I love the stance it has but if it causes harm to it then I'll have to deal with it a little lift in the rear
  13. Ok, thanks guys. Sorry for not posting pictures still it rained today. You guys thing I can get away with just putting One leaf back?
  14. I'll check the bump stops and report back. 2 middle leafs were removed. 3 are left.
