the bead on the bead locks the inside of the bead sits on the piece i welded then another ring sits on the outside and bolts to it clamping the bead of the tire to the ring. the axle is for my truck lol the link mounts i had on it prior decided to rip the axle housing apart so figured i would build a new one and andrew has a sweet new bender so we had some fun

and i just put his build at 5 pages without saying one thing about his truck i win

its not hard to do the conversion. i have a divorced dana 20 that i ran in my truck that i dont want any more if your interested. i run toyota running gear now. but it has the driveline piece that slide right into any datsun tranny. all you would need to do is find a front axle
