Just as a preface, I am a complete noob, but I'll try to sound like I know what I'm talking about. I've been experiencing some problems with the e-choke on the hitachi carb of my 1973 620 (it doesn't open). Also the engine has been dieseling long after i turn off the ignition (I actually have to stall it now to get the engine to stop). It appears that the e-choke shares the same relay with the anti-dieseling solenoid. I checked, and there's power going to the relay, but no power to the e-choke or anti-dieseling solenoid. So I popped open the relay and was not surprised to see that the interior was badly rusted and corroded. I tried to clean it up, but to no avail (I probably just did more damage to the tiny fragile wires). Does anyone know where I can find a replacement for this relay? I've checked just about every Pick-n-Pull in Northern California with no luck. If you have any suggestions or advice please let me know, my truck is just about useless without this one little part.
