  1. It is probably just a earlier trans. I don’t know the exact year they changed (maybe around 66’) but on the 520’s there are *narrow* and *wide* bolt pattern slaves. The wide ones are hard to find and usually expensive. I know you can source the wide ones from certain Datsun Roadster vendors but hold on to your wallet. I just slotted the way more common narrow one and used fender washers to mount.
  2. Should be able to swap on a Z series bell housing to your existing transmission. Where this gets a little tricky is the torque converter bolt up. The KA flex plate is closer to the block and the hole in the crank is different. Don’t remember exactly what I did, but I think I documented this in a build thread on my 521 years ago. I believe it was Project FTO.
  3. Sorry kind of forgot that unimportant bit of info. Updated post
  4. I have 1 brand new and 1 good used windshield I can deliver to powerland if prepaid. Also have a under dash A/C unit too. PM me if interested. These are for a 520/521.

  7. I believe the ball joints are the same as the roadster (sp311). If that’s the case, Rare Parts here in the states makes replacements.
  8. As posted above, there are a few listed on car-part.com. Now, if they are actually still on a shelf is another thing.
  9. 10ga is good for 30amps but it would be a good idea to use 8ga if your running extension cords a long distance to account for voltage drop.
  10. Carl has been around for a while. Have bought 1200, 521, and Roadster stuff from him over the years. No issues here.
  11. Cool 1200. Should be a bast with the CA. Off topic but that Z looks like a 69/70 series 1 based on the pillar emblem and hatch vents.

    My 1971 521

You don't *have* to remove the crank. You can drop it down a little, use a pick to pull the old one and use a tool called a "sneaky pete" to install the new upper one. Not the easiest to accomplish but it can be done. That said, my Roadster has a leaky rear main and I'm fine with it! LOL.
  13. Pics are in the link above. I believe they are from the early to mid 80's. I know it was a while ago but you and Charlie saw the truck in Williams LOL
  14. LOL, that was my truck. Those wheels are 15x6 Toyota landcruiser wheels with generic spinners. IIRC tires were 205/60-15
