what types of dash look the best in the 240z's

Sorry 280z into 240z

I've seen some big flares on Z's but when you get that big It would contridict the body lines and make the car look less authentic and more hotwheels in my opinion

Just wondering if there is anybody out there that has put a 280 dash into a 240 and if there are any differences between the two

I want to pull a l28et from a 280zx and keep the AC because my 240z doesn't have it. Is there a way I can run the hose because I know the 280z had AC and the body is extremely close. Has anyone done this before?

OK! So I want to put some stance supersport+ coilovers on my z but I won't have enough money until the end of summer but I'm getting the car painted before then. Doesn't sound like to big of a deal right? Well I really don't feel like cutting into my fresh paint to burn in the required camber adjustment plates! So does anyone know the spacing on the camber adjustment skrews and the threading on the lower body for when I order my taped conversion tubes? I want to buy some cheap used coilovers so I can take it to some meets and swap them later so I can hit up some track days. Also I had a question on whether coilovers would be good for drag racing I'm putting track bars on it and beefing up the control arms so I don't bend those. And im pretty sure that would protect the coilovers right? Any thoughts as well as ideas and suggestions are much appretiated. Thank you for your time.

Hey guys, im trying to figure out what kind of wheels i should get for my 240z. its going to be slamed and flared if you find any cool stuff , have something on your z to show off or want to sell im very interested to see what you guys have.

try holding the key inbetween the start and on position, when i blew my ballast resistor this was the only way id get it to run but if it got to close to the key stop on the start pos it would cut out. and your tail light problem, you may have a ground issue somewhere back there.

if it came off a 280 they are the same i believe

Sorry its a points Eliminator kit, not a conversion my apologies.

I put a battery in mine and it fired up with a little "caress " I drove it about 13 miles to my house costing because I didn't want to beat my motor up to bad because I heard a small knock but it would get going pretty good for a couple hundred yards then bog again but I could only get her to about 25 MPH:/ can't wait to get my new motor and trany so by by natural aspiration hello super:D I'll be posting pic in may or June when I get the beast! And check out accel they have point to electric concretions but I don't know about datsuns for sure I used it on my 289 and it was worth it and didn't take too much time to install

My 72 does the same thing but I haven't touched the drivtrain yet I'm doing floor pans and bodywork to get it ready for paint in the spring.I'll keep checking back to see if you get this sorted out may be what I'm dealing with but you never know its been sitting for over 10 years:p Good luck
