  1. Are you comfortable in it that way or is it just bearable that way?
  2. The truck I was looking at had an aftermarket steering wheel, but I felt like my knees were almost in my chest lol. Found a king cab sort of close by, but it has no motor or transmission. I've been day dreaming about dumping a KA into it, but I don't know if I have the time for that and I needed something that I could start driving really soon. Sorry about the truck man. That really sucks :(
  3. How tall are you? I'm around 6'2", but I have really long legs so the standard cab would not have worked at all.
  4. Cool. Unfortunately I haven't seen any KCs in the Southern California craigslists, but maybe one will pop up eventually.
  5. Didn't end up buying the truck. Partly because it wasn't in near as good of shape the guy said it was in and therefore wasn't worth his asking prices, but also because I could barely fit in it. Guess I'm too tall for the standard cab. Do the King Cab versions have a lot more leg room in them? Thank you all so much for your advice though. It helped a lot to know what to look for.
  6. Do you still have this? If you do can you post some pictures of the interior?
  7. No problem. Just wanting to make sure I knew what to look for. Thank you very much for the advice.
  8. I'm trying to go look at a '73 620 on Tuesday. The add on craigslist claims that the truck has a 2.0 liter in it, but the VIN that the guy gave me over the phone is PL620428331 and according to this thread http://community.ratsun.net/topic/16103-how-to-read-620-vin-numbers/ that code corresponds the the 1.6 if I'm understanding it correctly. So my question is where is the serial or engine number on the actual engine and how do I read it to make sure it's a 2.0 and not a stock 1.6? Any advice would be very much appreciated. I'm brand new to the Datsun scene so I apologize if this question is stupid or has been asked before.
  9. Thank you so much for all the advice. Turns out I can't go look at it until Tuesday so if I pick it up then I'll be sure to post some pics.
  10. Thanks for the advice man. It doesn't look like it's been sitting or anything like that, but I'll make sure to check out those parts. For that price I might pick some up for when I do eventually need them.
  11. Judging by your location and listed cars you might be a little bit biased :P Are there any Datsun get togethers in Socal? I'm in the Temecula area.
  12. I might be going to look at a '73 620 tomorrow and I was just wondering if there are any common problems I should be on the lookout for. From the pictures the truck looks like it's in really good shape, but are there any areas on these truck that are prone to rust or any other sort of mechanical problems I should look out for? Any advice would be much appreciated.
