I did I roughy bit of research and people are getting at around 350hp roughly 300ft-lbs of torque so in a reply earlier it says h190 will be good for 285ft-lbs, lets trial this shit ha ha

    H190 diff limits

The reason I'd love to stick to a standard length diff axle is due to the cost of cutting a diff down is to much ie. cutting it down isn't an issue it's the axles, getting them re splined, they won't have there original case hardening strength and every time I brake an axle ill have to cut it down then get it re splined, I don't need a 9 inch I'm aiming for 350-400hp I'm thinking a run the standard diff ill just give it a new set of bearings and a lap maybe. Thanks for your help guys

    H190 diff limits

Has anyone really tested how much a h190 diff can handle, hp with full traction
  8. I will mate, it could be a long thread though, it's going to take me a wile but ill put up pics of every stage, I have massive plans for the engine, the sad part is the engine is the easiest part for me ha ha ha.
  9. Wow that's a tight fit, looks good cheers wayno
  10. I wish I could whip down to the hardware and get a can of room, when I do the steering shaft it should free up 2 inches I hope so ill tilt the engine to that side a little and ill go a smaller turbo garret gt3076 I'm thinking should flow for 300-400 hp. Plus a new inlet manifold bracket should free a bit of room.
  11. Yeah it's coming along we'll, I'm gutting the engine bay today, ill put 2 new photos up with the gutted engine bay and one with the engine sitting in, I got a set of Holden vl commodore mounts coming they are a little thinner then the sr mounts then just got to make the adapter plates from the standard chassis mounts
  12. I have a 63 312 and its got one as well
  13. I got a new manifold today
