  1. ok thank you a lot dear len the carb is working fine now 3 main problems were 1. vacuum leaks from "idle compensator" , and one of carb diaphragm screws connected to unused channel from bottom of carb 2. accelerator pump in the "carb rebuild kit" was spoilt 3. air passage for 1st venturi was blocked ( causes driping from venturi ) and now i have to thank my dear friends datzenmike ,lenRobertson and ggzilla and feel free to ask me if you have any questions about (or need photos or vids of) dch340 and i'm gonna to upload a video of what i've called it cold testing ! (it's dangerous don't try it)
  2. merry christmas :D i removed top of car measured the fuel level its 3cm i think it should be 2.3cm (23mm) any idea ?
  3. after that mess made by my friend i took it apart and looked at 340's "exploded view " sheet and cleaned a lot of s*** but what i realy didn't found is the correct place of those jets so i placed the "small hole" one as 1st and the other as 2nd slow jet

  5. pump acts as you said its fine the ball are new i suggest you to check another carb befor you explode yours and check venturies and other things so after rebuild you have a clear vision of how should it work when u rebild your carb 1st check what u have in your carb kit and replace them one by one ( i told a friend of mine to replace the jets because i thought he's exprienced but he wasn't .he opened everything and confused everything after that just replaced 2 jet and we had a lot of problem finding correct place of other pieces ) and dont unscrew "idle compensator"
  6. dear len thank you for your reply ok i'm telling to all friends viewing my photos the plate you see in 2nd pic is not glass its metal and its shiny because i polished that with sandpaper the acc pump is working fine, my problem ( as you see in the vid ) is that the mixture is rich (not lean) when i open throtle a lot of gas comes out of venturi and kills engine
  7. Hi I removed that arm for som reason My problem is that a lot of fuel comes outa venturi and kills engine (hesitate) on accelerating the problem may be vacuum leak But i dont find it

  9. unfortunatly the carb doesnt have fuel level glass ( its old ) but fuel level is about 3 mm above "power valve" ( can u please tell me what does it do )
  10. no just one wire to anti dieseling solenoid and the fast idle is mechanical
  11. hi to all last week i tried to rebuild my z24 carb ( DCH340 ) and replaced every gasket and two slow jets but when i put it back on car i faced a lot of **** like backfiring ,hesitating, vacuum leak and my 1st venturi buzzing on idle so i tried to stop vacuum leaks and find some , much better now but still backfiring and buzzing and poping in exhust one in every 3 cycles of engine and when opening throtle a lot of gas comes outa venturi . so to everyone who knows whats up with my carb : Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez help me :crying: its drivin me . . . tankx :angel:
